The Grand Lady of the Port Everglades Cruise Port

Dubbed the grand lady, the Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port holds a prominent spot in local history. Built in 1925, the Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port was designed to mirror the classic Mediterranean revival style popularized by The Breakers in Palm Beach. After extensive renovations, the hotel's interiors have been refreshed with new kitchens, countertops, bedding and floors in all studios and suites. Guests also appreciate direct access to the Hollywood Boardwalk, the Port Everglades Cruise Port and the two-story mall onsite.

A $3 million renovation updated more than 100 rooms, adding new granite countertops in the bathroom and kitchen, wood cabinets, porcelain tile flooring, bedding, furniture and decorative crown molding. Studios and suites at the Hollywood Beach Resort Cruise Port enable guests to prepare meals in full kitchens and log on to Wi-Fi for free. great location on the beach

only stayed 1 night , didnt use hotel for anything but sleeping. room was very nice and clean, view was another part of the bldg 20 feet away.what they dont tell you is that parking self park @ $15 a day ,quite a walk with luggage or valet @18 plus tips a day. no other parking choices. staff was very friendly ,bed was comfortable. right on the beautiful beach

very bad hotel STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

no internet,everything is old, air con not working very exepensive parking (15$) motel6 is much much better than them

see me next year

major repairs being done.had to upgrade room. stillhad problems. spoke to mgr. agreed to drop the $40.00 per nite difference. still charged me for one nite of $40 called visa to protest charge . several office and retail stores vacant in bldg. assume wailting for repairs to be made

horrible! would not offer that in site

horrible! service- bad.room is old and the shower old and bad working. internet with extra fee that does not work! flood at my room at 5 am in the the morning that destroy half my suitcases and what's inside! in your place would not offer this hotel to any of your customers anymore!!

Okay for two people

Hollywood Beach Resort - good for price, nothing special

It was ok. All about location - nice pool, great bar - O'Malley's. All in all was very very fun! Staff left something to be desired but we had a really good time.

I booked into this hotel under time constraint and not realizing I had stayed there many years before. It had not changed: still dirty, musty, needing renovation.

Billy's Stone Crab restaurant is across the road. It is not what it pretends to be; that is upscale, classy. It is overpriced and the food was, at best, mediocre.

Complete dump with hidden fees

If you like random odors, bad attitudes and hidden fees, this is your place. After paying for my room online, I was greeted by a mandatory $10 per night "Resert Fee" and $15 self-parking fee (or $18 for valet). The resort fee was the most insulting: covered the USA Today (don't read), towels at the pool (didn't use) and WiFi (I travel w/ my own MiFi). Glass enclosed area with sliding doors and full time security guard requires badge access to get to elevators / guest rooms. Seemed pretty sketchy. Pay the extra few bucks and stay at a name brand hotel you can trust!
