Great little getaway for my husband and I
we needed a break from the cold northeast, and this was perfect! The hotel is right on the beach and we walked the boardwalk day and night. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great, even allowing us a later checkout time! The restaurant food was great too. Wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Great Hotel Right on the Beach
We had a great time at this hotel on the beach. The broad walk is wonderful. The staff at the hotel were amazing and so helpful.

AWESOME Hotel!
From the moment we checked in til the hour we left we enjoyed a beautiful hotel and superb service. Our room was amazing, very clean, huge comfortable bed and even tho we did not have true "ocean view" we could see beach and the intercoastal from our balcony (although our patio door could have opened easier - which is our only complaint). The best surprise was the cabana service on the public beach. The staff at the Mariott were the BEST. We would definitely visit this hotel again. Also very good food and great breakfast buffet.

On the beach it doesn't get any better.
The hotel was recently rennovated and decor was quite pleasant. The outdoor restaurant and bar was great! The room set up was very nice. However,the beveled glass door on the bathroom entrance was weird. I would change all those doors.The pool was OK but since it was directly on the beach made is very convenient. We had to pay for daily parking, the room rate was not cheap it should have included parking.

Rock hard beds.
The location is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very nicely decorated but we could not get one decent night's sleep. We have traveled all over the world and have never had a problem with beds but these were terrible.The mattresses were so hard they actually hurt. These particular beds were probably lovely and firm at one time but now they've just plain worn out. Every time someone rolled over it sounded like an anchor being hoisted or a rusty gate. We complained many times, bought air mattresses, asked for additional comforters and blankets but nothing. It is a shame as this hotel has so much going for it but when I'm away I don't want to dread going to bed. Everything else is fantastic but without sleep what's the point?

Great Getaway
My wife and I went to Hollywood Beach for our first vacation in two years without kids. We wanted something on the beach, relatively quiet, peaceful and good food options. The Marriott was a great choice. The hotel restaurant was nice, but we also loved the fact that we were right on the boardwalk and could walk to a dozen fun bars and restaurants.

Wonderful setting for perfect getaway
The room was clean, organized, and so much more than expected. The bathroom fixtures and design were fantastic! I want the same installed in my home. We had a gorgeous seaside view with a wonderful balcony fit for the two of us. I couldn't recommend this hotel any higher. Don't settle for less!

Take advantage of the small restaurants along the boardwalk behind the hotel. Every one we visited had amazing authentic food; from Greek to Mexican to Turkish. And yes, you could find plenty of American food there as well. :)

Great View of the Beach at Hollywood,Fl
Great location on the beach, with beautiful view. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Mini bars not as necessary as fridge would be.
