Remove Ramada from future consideration
The lobby was not at all inviting, with loud music from the bar intruding on the conversation at the front desk. The room was larger than expected, but dirty and a bit barren. The baby cockroaches crawling over our toiletries in the bathroom, were a bit disconcerting! Honestly, I have no idea about the location. We were simply looking for someplace with easy access to the airport due to an unexpected overnight, but the cab fare to get to the hotel was over $30!! The good news was that there was a shuttle for the ride back to the airport in the morning.

Close to shopping malls
We wanted ease of access to and from Miami airport and good shopping facilities. This budget priced hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Airport ad we found a ood shopping mall only a short walk away. The check in staff etc were extremely helpfull but be prepared for a long wait at the restaurant. Overall I would rate the Ramada very good value for money in a very good location for shopping.

not what i Payed for
i Payed for a smoking room with a balcony and view of their amazing pool. what we got instead was a non smoking room with a balcony that over look a parking lot oh did i mention there were no doors leading to the balcony my son found wood chips in his bed the shower had no hot water and you had to activate your keys daily. we are not returning this hotel. i understand rooms are subject to availability but i Payed extra for a bad room.

Definately NOT a 3 Star
Stayed 1 night post cruise, very disappointing! Early check in, not going to happen...decided to hold a housekeeping meeting at a prime customer turnover time...mid morning, after check out but before check in! The lobby was full of patrons for hours; not sure if they were checking in or out but seating was limited for the many hours I sat there while waiting! Once we did get in our room...just plain disappointing! Water stained ceilings, cracked walls and slamming doors! Couldn't even watch TV because the reception was static filled...questionable??? I would never recommend this facility to anyone!

I got stuck in the elevator!!
Elevator doesn't work.. Keys get demagnetized automatically.. Description says balcony but there is no door which leads to it.. Also they promised pool side view room but I never got one.. Staff is bad.. They don't give proper information.. Only positive thing is that it's good for the deal we got..

overnight layover
A place to lay our head waiting to board our cruiseship. Told it would cost us a small fee to get a shuttle to the docks, but ended up being no fee, a nice surprise. A bit expensive for as late as we got in and early as we left. Don't know if there was an included continental breakfast since it wasn't mentioned when we checked in.
