Businesss Trip
My experience at the Residence Inn was excellent. Despite the the close proximity to Interstate 75 which created traffic noise, the staff, amenities, and room comfort and cleanliness made up for the traffic noise. Both nights of my stay, the staff provided beverages and food from 5:30 to 7:30p.m. Jane was an excellent cook and host and deserves a raise. I truly felt like the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease while I eas away from home!

Very nice stay
While in Gainesville for a UF student orientation we stayed one night. We were given our choice of floors, and ended up on the 5th (top) floor. The room was exceptionally clean and in great condition, with the full frig, DW, microwave, coffee maker, and half a stovetop. I'm picky, and I was happy :) Breakfast included scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage.

Excellent stay
This stay was a Girlfriend Getaway weekend. I met an old friend for a 3 night stay to catch up. It had been 3 years since out last trip, and we were looking forward the trip. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, rooms are excellent, clean, with a perfect layout in the Junior Suite. Excellent staff. Everything you need or want is there. If you needed something, the staff was cheerful and provided it immediately. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

The reason we select Gainesville, FL to meet in is because of the entertainment provided there. The Hippodrome, the Phillips Center for Performing Arts, and other activities. The museums. The live shows and theater are all excellent.

Residence Inn - Gainesville, FL
The room was spacious and clean. It had nice eat-in kitchen that was well-provisioned with appliances. The only drawback was that the refrigerator in our room was somewhat noisy. Loved the free in-room internet cable. It was easy to access and fast enough for routine web browsing. The free breakfast was exceptional in its quality, quantity diverse menu. The breakfast area was spacious, clean, and well staffed. Our check-in and check-out was smooth and efficient. We had an unexpectedly late check-in, which was handled without a hitch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful get away for our anniversary
It was more than we expected. We've enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Hotel. We might go again in the near future, If it's the LORDS' Will.

There's a lot of shopping area's to go to and fantastic eating places, besides the usual McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, but that's good too when you're short of funds.

Good hotel for business travel
This is a nice hotel for a business trip. There is easy internet access, a fitness center, and complimentary hot breakfast. There are also many restaurants and stores nearby. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
