Just a place to sleep
The staff was very friendly. No thing special about this place. It was clean and neet. Very basic, no iron, no hair dryer, no box tissues. I little pack of shampoo enough for one person. Ice maker did not work. I would not stay here again.

The RRI was worth the money I paid. I was in Gville for one night and my tab was less than $60. The front desk clerk was nice. The room was clean but nothing over the top. The RRI is less than 0.5 miles off exit 384 on I-75---perfect!

Nothing special. The bed was extra firm. The sheets had some small holes from over use. The towels where frayed. the curtains did not block the window well and it was really bright in the morning so sleeping in was difficult. The shower was amazing though. It had great water pressure.

Very Nice!
Excellent location - right next to several restaurants and a shopping center with a Target and other stores. Approximately 10 minutes to the University of Florida campus (with traffic). The room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers, and will stay here again.

The Johnson Family Vacation
It was okay, nothing spectacular.
Having a continental breakfast and a full size ironing board(the one the hotel had was very miniature size). Having these two items would have made a much better stay

Driving Sleepy!!
I was very sleepy when I arrived at the Red Roof Inn, after driving for more than 24hrs all I wanted was a hot shower and comfy bed. After checking in the desk clerk called to make sure everything was ok with my room, this was a very nice touch. The room was clean and very peaceful. The hotel is surrounded by everything I could want and need including major shopping centers and all the fine foods (as well as fast foods) that you could imagine. I will stay there again as I frequently visit Gainsville often, its hard to find friendly service with a smile.

Deplorable Interior
I hated every minute of being in the hotel room. I did not sleep my first night because the room had a musty stench that irritated my sinuses. The smell seemed to be coming from the carpet. The linens were old, dingy and stained. There were yellow, pink and other colored stains on all of the linens. The room had an overall since of uncleanliness. I've stayed at other hotels with the same price which were like a Ritz Carlton compared to this hotel. I had to change rooms my second night which did not smell as bad as the first but the remote control didn't work. Overall, the hotel was not worth the price and I will never stay there again.
