my only negative impression was that the front desk staff were not very professional. they looked sloppy and did their work with no enthusiasm. other than that i was happy with the comfort and cleanliness of my room. access to campus was perfect.

Fantastic Family Getaway
We had two wonderful days in Holiday Inn. We went to Graduation of our son. I compare Holiday Inn with Hilton in Gainesville. If I have to return to Gainesville probably we will stay in Holiday Inn because is practico when you have to go to University of Florida. I really recommend it! Rosinete Cordeiro

Tired and dated
Pretty tired and dated hotel in heart of town. Restaurant is a bar next door--no breakfast. Furnishings are beat up and worn. Decor is late 70's at best with a few splashes to try to hide the need for complete renovation. Not really Holiday Inn quality. Staff were very helpful, but could not solve Priority Club points problem.

OK for location
Staff were very accomodating and helpful. Room was clean and nice location. Pool was not available while we were there and I am not sure why. We were not permitted access.

Better Customer service will cover up for any lapse
I think the customer service is not up to the standard of the hotel. Put simply, the only thing out of place here is the customer service.

Good hotel, Great Price
I was there for a night and left very early in the morning. Had a great overall experience. There was a problem with running water in our first room and the staff was extremely kind and accommodated us. Beds were comfortable. Overall I enjoyed the hotel.

Great location, not so great hotel
W went to visit our son at the university. The bathtub was not as clean as it should have been!!
