Destin resort offering beach, bay and dining
A focal point of this active resort is a huge rock grotto in the middle of its outdoor Polynesian-style pool. Waterfalls cascade down its sides while, inside, a swim-up bar quenches the thirst of guests. Married On The Beach
I had booked the Ramada in Destin on mistake for my wedding; which was to far from the beach. I came here and on the same day I got a room that over looks the beach, 0 cost for my wedding to be performed on the beach and a great discount on the room, which was very clean with a kingsize bed. This was the best experience of my life...THANKS Ramada Plaza Beach Resort. OH allmost forgot. It had the best looking pool area I have ever seen...HANDS DOWN

sweet times
We really felt welcomed from the very being when arriving. My girlfriend and I liked the beach as well as the closeness of the surrounding attracts that were easy to walk to. The five day stay was extremely relaxing and lots of fun. Looking forward to coming back again.

first vacation
we were looking for an ideal location for a value, and with a beachside location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, we got all we needed for the price we paid.

The Boardwalk is right next door to the hotel. There's souvenir shops as well as nice dining options.

Ramada Plaza
It was a great location. You could walk east on the beach (just a couple hundred yards) and practically have you're own private area. The beach in front of the hotel was nice but it was lined with reserved chairs and umbrellas that blocked the view. The pool area was nice and different than many of the other ones in the area. The hotel entrance was nice and up to date. The room was a different story. We stayed on the west side of the complex and it reminded me of a Motel 6. The rooms need some major updates. I did hear that the rooms on the beach (south) side were pretty nice. The only reason I would stay here again would be for the locaiton The hotel is a close drive to everything and there is the Boardwalk next door which has great food. Never really dealt with the staff except for when we checked in and out.

We stayed for 5 days at the Ramada, it was very pleased with what it had to offer. The Rooms were clean and so were the grounds. It wasn't brand new and you could tell that the hotel had some years on it. However it was not run down, it was well kept and the rooms were clean. Most of what we wanted to do was within walking distance of the hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who was planning a trip to the Ft Walton / Destin area.

perfect get-a-way
we picked this hotel because of the bar located in a cave in a pool... we loved our stay here! the room was good needed a microwave but they did have one in the lobby. the pool was awesome and the beach was beauty! We will go back here next year!

Clean, Updated Room
Spent two nights in great double queen bed room in the tower with a pool view. Everything had recently been updated and the room was very clean. All in all a great place to stay.
