Friendly inn with pool near Fort Walton Beach
This easy-going inn on Okaloosa Island between Destin and Fort Walton Beach makes a great base camp for the attractions of the area, including the white sand Gulf coast beach that lies just across the street. The friendly staff at the Emerald Coast Inn and Suites serves a free continental breakfast daily, and there is a cozy, comfortable lobby with a computer with high-speed Internet access. Nice stay!
Hotel lobby was very nice and the rooms were comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Best part was the electronic directory in the lobby which detailed attractions, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. that were in the area and convenient to the hotel. Will stay here again!

Short drive from hotel
Skip the continental breakfast (which was good) and eat instead at "Another Broken Egg" in Destin. Takes about 15 minutes to get there from the hotel, but the food was SUPERB!!! Well worth the drive.

Good beds
Good beds, but the bathrooms have paper thin walls. Commons area is not much to enjoy. Good place for a nights rest, but not much else.

money well spent
came to the hotel on a rainy day.the staff was so helpful.room is clean and relaxing.got a room with a view.that's a plus.even helped me with arranging my transportation around town.

World Traveler
Friendliest Staff on a 38 day trip
They checked us in early when we arrived ahead of schedule and switched us to a room with a gulf view when we asked if one was available. It was a bargain price as well. The front desk personnel were all very friendly and helpful. In the morning the gentleman at the desk even made waffles for all of the guests. He was so friendly it was like being guests in his own kitchen. The location was convenient to the beach and ammenities.

Traveling sisters
Unbeatable location for the price
When we first checked in we were given a smoking room. When we returned to the front desk and explained we needed a non smoking room they explained that thru Orbitz we were only garenteed a room, not necessarily a non smoking room. They did however make every effort to get us into a non smoking room even tho they were booked full for the weekend. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way for us and for others that I saw while we were there. The lady that took care of the breakfast even spoke multiple languages and tried to address people in their native language if she could in the mornings. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. We have family in Ft. Walton Beach, FL and we will be returning to visit them a few times a year.

The hotel was right on the main road and everything you could want was just off this road. Some of the restaurants were even within walking distance.

Fantastic family getaway
It was the last little getaway of the Summer. We enjoyed the hotel, it was convienant to the beach and dining. For the price and location I don't think you can beat it. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. I only wish we had more time to spend in Ft.Walton.....

2 star motel, 1970's style and apptments
This is not a 3.5 star motel. I checked out after one nite, and returned home. I would appreciate a refund for the unused nite. I will not consider your service further.
