Weekend Getaway
We were less than impressed. We were excited about the resort and had heard good things about the area. We struggled to find too many nice restaurants. The floors and rooms were not as clean as expected. The sliding door did not open properly and the shower drained very slow. There was not much special about this resort or it's location.

Wonderful place to stay!
We stayed at the Beach Villas. The villa was clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and reservations. We spent most of our time on the beach, but did rent a boat on recommendation from the hotel. Food, drinks and service were excellent. No complaints!

Awesome Hotel
This was our 3rd time staying at the PinkShell, it is an awesome place, the hotel is very very clean which is important to me..when you only get so much time a year out of work I want to go somewhere totally enjoyable and that is not a dirty musty hotel that smells..it is worth a little more money to be in a world outside of the dailey grind of work and feel really happy every day, this is how it is at the Pink Shell. The rooms are wonderful..baths nice and large, beds are really comfortable ( more than at home and I have a Temporpedic!! )The staff always will help and is wonderful, there is a mini store on the property which is so nice for forgotten staples, the beach is right at your feet! the room includes every day a steam room experience at the spa! All rooms face the beach which is what I want to wake up to on vacation. I want to try somewhere else but don't want to take a chance...I KNOW the Pink Shell is awesome. Right down the street is the Times Square with the pier, shops and good food...can't go wrong if staying at Ft Meyers beach

Very upscale
The resort was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The pool was very enjoyable to use. The resturant on the ground was nothing special and a bit on the pricey side. We would definitely return to the resort as there were no negatives but plenty of positives.

The Beached Whale resturant is a must go place. The resturant/bar has nothing but fantastic food. Everything from wings to prime rib. We ate there twice and both times it was fantastic.

Loved it, can't wait to go back
My wife and I headed down from NYC for a quick weekend of R&R. We went for lying by the pool, shopping at the outlets & biking on Sanibel. We had never been to, but loved the Pink Shell. Nice clean room overlooking the gulf with a king bed & a kitchenette. No nickle & diming here - free parking, free wireless internet, no pesky resort fees or towel fees. We also got two complimentary buffet breakfasts each. We were both very impressed and will gladly return.

Charley's Boathouse Grill on Estero Blvd / FMB is great for seafood. They also had perhaps the best salad bar I have seen. We went two nights in a row.

Ft. Myers Pink Shell Beach Hotel
Hotel location, food, room, and front desk staff were excellent! Pools and beach were excellent as well! Housekeeping staff was below average for a hotel of this rating. Examples: we ran out of toilet paper and tissues and had to call to get replacements 1 hour after the room was cleaned, also the general cleaning level was sub-standard. The workout facility was small and the weight equipment was outdated for a hotel of this status.

Pink Shell, Aces
The tropical ambiance and detail were fantastic; As was the staff, they were so attentive and cheerful. The surrounding Ft. Myers beach area has so much to do and sea. It still has that look & feel of old Florida charm, which we greatly mis. We highly recommend the pink shell, it's five stars!

Amazing!!
The Hotel is situated right on the beach, every room has a breath taking view of the Ocean. We were there to relax and that is exactly what we did. The view of the beach, Dolpins playing and Sunset from our balcony was amazing. We have stayed at this Resort before and it is the only Hotel we will stay at when traveling to the Fort Myers Beach area.
