Luxe Gulf resort welcomes kids
The Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa boasts a great location at the tip of Estero Island, straddling trendy Naples and laidback Captiva and Sanibel islands. The resort offers a comprehensive vacation experience for parents as well as the kids. An on-site sailing school, drop-off kid's camp, three heated pools, beachfront location and well-equipped villas and cottages make it easy for families to drop anchor and relax at the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa.
Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa Rooms
- One Bedroom White Sand Villa
- New one bedroom luxury condo style room. Spectacular Gulf-front view, one king, sofa bed, kitchen. Located in White Sand Villas building. Max Occ 4. Each offers a separate living and bedroom area with a king bed in the bedroom and a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room. All have a full kitchen, dining area, and stackable washer/dryer combo. Floor to ceiling windows offer a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from the living room and each has a private screened off balcony overlooking the beach. There are no White Sand Villas rooms located on the ground floor.
- Two Bedroom Beach Villa
- Deluxe 2-bedroom condo style room. Gulf-front, one king, two double beds, kitchen. Located in Estero Island Beach Villas building. Renovated 2003. Max Occ 6. Each has two separate bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is 1 king bed in the master bedroom and 2 double beds in the guest room. Each has a full kitchen, living room, dining area, washer/dryer and private screened off balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. There are no villas located on the ground floor.
- Deluxe Gulf Front Studio
- Studio with one king or two queen beds. Gulf-front with balcony and kitchenette. Located in Sanibel View Building. Renovated 2003. Max Occ 4. Kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster, mini-refrigerator; ceramic stove cook-top (no oven), coffee maker, dishes and utensils. Private, screened-in balcony offers a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico. There are no studios located on the ground floor.
- Two Bedroom White Sand Villa
- New two-bedroom luxury condo style room. Spectacular gulf-front view, one king, two double beds, and kitchen. Located in White Sand Villas. Max Occ 6. Located in the brand new White Sand Villas opened on March 1, 2004, each offers two separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is one king bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the guest room. All have a full kitchen, dining area, and stackable washer/dryer combo. Floor to ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico from the living room and each has a private screened off balcony overlooking the beach. There are no villas located on the ground floor.

Girlfriend Getaway
Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was included which was very nice and it was a great breakfast. Spa prices were pricey so we didn't participate even though that was our plan. Wine was awful at the poolside restaurant - undrinkable. Location is terrific - beautiful beachfront and gorgeous pool. Outlet Mall was a short drive and it was a good mall.

Perfect beach vacay
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 2 years, each time was wonderful & I hated to leave. The staff isfriendly & helpful, the resort beautiful, and could not be better located. Although I travel with my family, it would be a great couples spot too. There is a beautiful pool and you are also steps from the beach. The rooms are well maintained & nicely decorated.

We enjoyed everything the hotel offered except the Bobgo's Bar and Grill. Suggest you get a new menu or chef. The food over all was inferior to other restaurants in the area. Jack's Restaurant on the other hand was very very good. Good variety and quality. The chef cooking the the omlets etc. was very pleasent and made the best breakfast. With out a doubt we will consider returning in the near future.

Beautiful view.
Arrived tired and a little cranky from the trip but the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful.From the moment we entered the room and saw the view we were hooked. Loved the location especially the little park that is beside the resort. Started every morning to sunrise and ended the day with sunset.

Bowditch Point Park is a gem of a park. It's sits at the tip of the island and we saw dolphins, turtles, butterflies and lots of wading birds.

Menu limited, poolbar and restaurant have the same, Restaurant itself is not attractiv. Breakfast room and breakfast are good, liked the chef there. Overall the price per night a bit high.You might gp there...but 3 days is enough

fantastic fort myers beach getaway
Everything we need for a great vacation. we were so busy at the resort that we did not have time to do much outside. The only thing that I would recommend is replacing the uncomfortable pillows. Residence Inn Marriott pillows are much more comfortable. Except for the pillows, resort is perfect.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!
The room was great and overlooked the Gulf. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Any problems (very few) were taken care of immediately. Three of us stayed in a suite with a full kitchen. It was great for an occasional meal. Would love to go back.

Beach Getaway
LOVE this hotel for a beach getaway! Just walk outside your room for the beach. They just increased the size of the beach too. Great for quiet walks and beautiful sunsets. The pools are wonderful for lounging!

Relaxation
The staff was always friendly & helpful. The spa was spectacular! Enjoyed the sunsets on the beach and relaxing in the lanai.
