Gull Wing
Check in was smooth, the condo was very clean, comfortable & safe. If & when I'm in the Ft Myers Beach area again, I'd consider staying at Gull Wing. What I enjoyed the most was the convinence of walking the beach.

Nice vacation August 2011
Gullwing beach is awesome we enjoyed our stay excellent food at South Beach restaurant in plaza close buy. Doc Ford also good. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom guess because it was off season. Weather was beautiful and we missed the hurricane thank god. Condos could use some upgrating old kitchen appliances etc. but very clean. Not a lot to do but a very relaxing time,. Do not take the Ecco tour boat ride it's a waste of time & money.

Awesome!
The hotel was awesome! The best thing...the people working there are the most friendly, helpful people ever! They were so nice! Also, the room was really nice and huge for two people! You do have to clean up some yourself or pay for daily maid service. Just don't use all of your towels on the first day and you should be fine. We used the kitchen just to make sandwiches and frozen pizza, but it did have a lot of dishes if you wanted to make more of a meal. The beach was really nice, and the hotel provides the beach towels so we didn't have to worry about that. We also used the pool in the afternoon and never had a problem getting a chair. The hotel is in an area that is very quiet and relaxing. If you are looking for lots of people, shops, and restaurants they are only a short drive away. We had a great stay!

Girls gone mild
Girl's weekend
Six of us stayed at the condo for a long girls weekend. It is a nice location and a good distance away from the touristy area that you have to drive past when you turn onto the island. It always took about 25-30 minutes to get off the island. We rented a car but there is a trolley available. I couldn't imagine having to use it though to haul groceries, etc. We also drove over to Lover's Key State Park, which has a nice beach with lots of shells. We went to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Very pretty, but also have a lot of slow traffic to deal with. The Gullwing condo is located on a wide beach area. We rented a condo with the ocean/beach view. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and look out at the ocean. The beach is great and lovely for early morning and evening strolls. We rented chairs on a daily basis. Two in our group bought chairs and umbrellas at the grocery store. We did not use the pool since It was always full of little children. The parents come down in the early AM and their put towels on the lounge chairs to unofficially reserve them. Thus there is no where to sit. We purchased groceries and ate at the condo for all but one meal. We did eat at Doc Ford's restaurant. It was a little pricey and just okay. The Gullwing is a nice condo to relax and enjoy the beach and ocean.

Perfect family condo
The suite was even larger than the photo gallery pictures I saw when making the decision to book it. Everything was very comfortable and well equipped. I liked that we could choose cleaning service or not.

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
Plan activities close by, and there are plenty. If you want to go north to get off the island, prepare for at least 1/2 hour in traffic any day between 10am and 11pm before you get into Fort Myers.

Tired of winter
Great relaxing week.
Very quiet hotel considering it is spring break. My family has stayed at this location in April and was concerned about spring break time of year. I would recommend when you want to exit the island to travel to the Bonita Springs direction.
