Casual luxury beachfront resort in Fort Myers
Unlike chain resorts, the Diamond Head Beach Resort is an independently owned resort hotel on the sugary-white sand beaches of Fort Myers. Perfect Honeymoon!
Our stay was absolutely perfect; like a dream. Before we could even tell them it was our honeymoon our room had been double upgraded to a premium sweet. The room was the epitimy of perfection. Wonderful view of the gulf coast, extremely comfortable and so clean you could eat off the floors! The staff was amazing! Extremely friendly and helpful and you could tell that they genuinely cared about you. Room service was very nice and prompt and the food was delicous :) This hotel is perfect for any type of traveler...whether you're a young couple, old couple or have a couple of children. The surrounding area was very laid back with lots to do within walking distance! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!!!

Would probably go back again but didn't appreciate being asked to attend meeting to purchase a time share as this wasn't made clear that's what one would win $100 to use @ Hotel for. Everyone was cheerful & helpful to our needs.

Nice hotel, great location
The hotel was very nice, above average. The room was very quiet. Once the doors closed, we heard no noise at all from the outside. The staff was very professional and helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The location and beachfront was awesome. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within a pleasurable walking distance. We definitely look forward to another stay there. Highly recommended!!

fantastic couples retreat
The food was excellent the rooms were wonderful, great pool with two hot tubs. All the staff were very friendly and were there to help may our stay enjoyable.

Have a variety of dining out experiences. Eat some meals in the hotel and walk or drive to town square which has many nice restaurants.

The Beached Whale has a beautiful outside patio which sits on top of the restaurant, great place to enjoy the evening with good food and a few drinks.

wish we could have stayed longer!
Stayed here overnight before getting on the ferry early the next day. Not enough time to really enjoy this place. The screeened in porch was amazing: great place to enjoy the beautiful view. Highly recommend.

Amazing Sunset!
We thought the place was clean and include necessary ameneties including a small gym room and a laundry room which we used. Not sure why but we haven't been warned that services will end at 7pm on Christmas eve, although the hotel looked quite busy. Chloe restuarant is decent both for breakfast and dinner, not high end but nails the basics. Hotel has access to the beach for a run or just sit and watch the sunset. Pool shape is interesting and opens late.

Short trip to SW FL
Hotel is in a very good spot with good local beachfront. It is a bit away from most of the restaurants, they require a short walk.

Fantastic resort!
This resort's staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The resort is right on the beach with white beaches and blue surf! The trolley comes right by it and was a delight to ride. My room was clean and comfortable. I sure do hope to get back soon and definitely recommend it to others.
