Carousel Beach Inn

This is a GREAT quiet beach hotel. It's down the road quite a ways from Times Square, but that makes it quiet. There's a 7/11, CVS, and 2 grocery stores nearby for convenience. It's right on a beautiful spot of beach, between 2 other resorts.

Excellent location with beach. Next door is Outrigger with Tiki bar so that's convenient for a quick drink. But the room is rather dirty. We were immediately disappointed as we walked into the room. The shower is very small :( and the entire suite has only 1 small mirror at bathroom sink. Huge living room which I can use to do yoga, and I'm grateful for bringing my yoga mat because otherwise the carpet is too dirty to sit on. convenient location if you have a car. It's a pet-friendly hotel, so I guess the carpet is meant to be dirty...

We had a great time! Hotel was just what we wanted, on beach . Nothing fancy no big frills. Comfortable and clean. Nice to have fridge and kitchenette. We ate most meals out but it was nice for beverages and snacks. We don't like highrise hotels so this was perfect for us! Who wants all those stairs or waiting on elevators! It was out the door and a few feet from the beach! We rented beach chairs and umbrella from the Outrigger next door. Had a great view of fireworks! We flew down so this was a nice perk. Would stay here again!

We highly recommend this hotel. Very good and modern design, first row at the beach, and perfect service. For us it was the best hotel on our Florida round trip.

This hotel was quaint, I liked that! It was right on the beach with a BEAUTIFUL view of the gulf!!!! The price was fantastic, however; the tiled shower had mold in it, there was no fan in the bathroon and no where to hang your overnight belongings (such as hooks on the back of the door or walls).

Beach right out your door, and units face the gulf, staff would rather not be bothered, and not very helpful with area questions.

We picked this spot for a quick holiday weekend getaway with our dog, and while we had a good time, he was completely delighted. The room was simple and clean and had the basic amenities, including a workable full (but small) kitchen. Don't expect luxury, but with the exception of missing curtains in the bathroom windows, everything met expectations for a renovated older property like this. Unfortunately, the pet friendly rooms have a parking lot view, which felt a bit like staying at any landlocked motel and kept us from waking up to a view of the beach. Our hairy companion didn't mind at all, and we were only steps from one of the most spectacular (and pet friendly) beaches we have ever seen. He walked, danced and played himself to exhaustion and his obvious joy gave us laughs and good memories. My advice is to book your romantic couple's getaway somewhere else, but consider this as a great place to spend a couple of days on the beach if you want to be the best friend to your furry best friend and don't mind walking a few miles every day on a beautiful beach.

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT IT LOOKED GOOD INSIDE AND OUT AND WAS DEF COZY COULDNT COMPLAIN EXCEPT I DIDNT SEE A BLOW DRYER OR AND IRON/IRONING BOARD YOU MAY HAVE TO ASK THE FRONT DESK FOR IT THOUGH. THE POOL WAS NICE AND BLUE VERY CLEAN EVEN HAD A SHOWER FOR YOU TO WASH UP IN THE POOL AREA RESTROOM. STEPPING OUT YOUR DOOR YOU CAN SEE THE OCEAN VIEW. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND WALKING DISTANCE TO 7-11 FOR ANY NEEDS. TROLLY STOP RIGHT THERE AND NICE COMFORTABLE BEDS WITH FEATHER COMFORTER! HAD A GREAT TIME AND WAS WELL WORTH THE STAY THERE... WILL DEF GO BACK TO THAT HOTEL IF WE RETURN TO FORT MYERS! THANKS GREAT JOB TO ALL THE HOTEL STAFF!
