Tween Waters Inn

I have been to Tween Waters several times and have gone back over and over again. I have stayed in suites as well as cottages, both were clean and had wonderful views. My family loved the vacation. It was very relaxing and fun. Every morning the breakfast was great and the crab races were exciting. On July 4th they had a pork roast that was also excellent. There was offered wi-fi all over the resort including the pool and parts of the beach/ marina area depending on your computer. We will continue to go back year after year when possible.

Island was beautiful...great for shell collecting. Suggest going onto Sanibel Island for dining.

Tween waters is on the captiva side of the island so its away from the busier parts of the island. Its in a great area for a fun relaxing or adventurous vacation! Beach is beautiful and the marina being so close is great! Take a cruise with Capt Randy, he's got great prices and knows a lot about the area. Make sure to eat at the Island Cow restaurant on Sanibel- best food on the Island! Ding Darling refuge is a neat place to see wildlife and maybe see gators. Tween waters is a great place to stay while on the island. Everything is great & the staff is wonderful!

Oustanding beach. Close to Ding Darling Nature Preserve. Great for biking, canoe/kayaking and fishing. Restaurant offerings on site were top notch.

If you are looking for a relaxed vacation on the beach,surrounded by great views and great value for your bucks....you can't go wrong with Tween Waters Inn. All amenities are close by. The best value is the free continental breakfast: an assortment of fresh fruit and great fresh-baked pastries...not the typical stale donuts you get at most hotels.

It wouldn't be advisable to drive there at night because of low visibility and not enough street lights. There are parking areas under the hotel and other wherein you would have to park on the sand. Having your designated parking area on the sand isn't too good when it just rained the whole day. There weren't any signs as well when looking for the "Registration Area". The lack of lighting on the area also added to the difficulty. The rooms we got was good. We got a suite which is a 1 bedroom ( 2 queens), a small living room area (tv mounted on wall and sofabed), a kithcnette and bathroom. Out of everythong, I personally liked the bathroom. They did not have a small tub. It's good for honeymooning couples. Actually, the place is better for honeymooners than family because of the expenses. There was an ice machine on the hallway which I think was very convenient.

Very enjoyable stay. All was as we wished and sometimes better. Only challenges was the drive off the island which took 1 hour + mid afternoon to around 7.00pm

great location, quiet place and very clean. A little bit old and in need of restyling but all in all it was a good vacation.
