Travelodge Fort Myers

My stay was just a night over while passing through Fort Myers. Its not a Hilton but the room was clean, very affordable, the staff was pleasant, and the location was great.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and pool area were BEAUTIFUL! No complaints.

Two lamps were missing working bulbs. I had a lovely view (sarcastic) of the back of the defunct Enterprise rent-a-car building and an open dumpster. Kids were drag racing on 41 all night, outside my window. And this was the second room. The first room, on the first floor, smelled like mildew and clorox.

Perfect location for the things we wanted to do, i.e. Edison/Ford Museum and Sanibel Island/Shell Museum. Motel was clean and very pleasant. Pool, laundry facilities, breakfast, A/C, WiFi, TV, etc...

nice place, stayed for 2 nights, close to many nice restaurants, and very convenient location. hotel is on main strip in fort myers, and very close to downtown and walking distance to mall. Best part is dunkin donuts is in parking lot. hotel is clean and good value. will come again.

The room was clean. My only complaints were the light over the sink was partially burned out and they did not have any of the special bulbs it required so I had to sit a floor lamp on the counter to put on makeup as we were there for a wedding. Also, the room got a very musty smell after the sun went down. Everyone were very friendly and helpful.

My room was very clean and the hotel people very nice. Oddly enough, I had a problem with electrical outlets...none that allowed me to plug in my cell phone on "my" side of the bed. Ditto for moving the floor lamp. The bedside wall lamps were unreachable from bed, so I hoped to move the floor lamp, but it was not to be. The microwave/fridge were an afterthought, as they were plugged to a power strip which was hanging from the wall! I was put in a room near the lobby(a plus for me as a single traveler, but the door chain(not a heavy curved bar as I have seen elsewhere) was a flimsy affair, barely held onto the wall with 2 small, loose screws which I was able to tighten by hand!! Pretty scary, so I slept with an alarm that slides under the door (I always carry one), but that one feature made me uneasy.

The weather was too chilly for the pool and it was not heated. The hot tub was great but shut off after 8:oopm. The breakfast was very nice and a big assortment....cudos on the breakfast. Found and killed a Palmetto Bug in the drawer of the dresser...was not a pleasant feeling during or after this experience. The cleaning staff was great. The people at the desk were friendly and polite..and very helpful.

This hotel was perfect for us. A great choice of breakfast to enjoy every morning. We found the hot tub a great addition as the pool though heated was not quite warm enough for us to use at this time of year.Our room was spacious and well maintained every day. The staff were friendly and helpful always. Nearby there are good restaurants to choose from for evening dinner. We hope to return next Winter.
