started good..ended not so good
The resort was nice. The only thing that I was unhappy with is the hidden fees on this hotel. I saw someone posted something about the hidden fees so I called the hotel and they said I would not have any. Well when I checked out I had $12 a day parking and $15 a day resort fees. When I questioned the front desk they said that was standard and whoever I talked to that said I would not have any was mistaken. Very disappointing.

Boring family getaway
We were bored... At the Hotel, there is not much to do for the family with kids. There is no beach right at the hotel, and the local beaches are infested with lice, beach flees, and etc. We experienced strong odor coming from the ocean, and lots of mosquito in the evening by the pool. When we walked in to our room, the linen was changed, however the bathroom was still dirty.

GREAT TIME=GREAT PLACE TO STAY
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I do wish they did have vending machines instead of having the purchase any item from the small gift shop/market. If later in the evening I wanted something to drink....nope did not get it. Hotel was comfortable, the maid-service was absolutely awesome. Good time and good place to stay.

Gorgeous Hotel!
Our hotel stay April 2012 was absolutely fabulous. The rooms were extremely clean, the staff was very helpful, and the location is perfect - close to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers. We plan to visit again in the near future.

Great Family Spring Break
Our experience was very good at the Marriott. The amenities were great, boat rentals and wave runner rentals were on the hotel grounds! We had a great time and have been planning to return next year.

Heaven - great for everyone!
This was a wonderful hotel we stayed on the 11th floor and had a fantastic view. My husband and I traveled with our 3 year old daughter and my 68 year old mother - Everyone loved the hotel and had a great time. It was clean, the restaurants where excellent, the pool was clean and fantastic. We hope to go back again and would love to make this a yearly extended weekend getaway place or vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Next time we would love to go on the dinner cruise and take more advantage of the spa. There is so much to do here you never have to leave the resort.
