Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers

The only good thing I can say is the staff was nice. They gave me a smoking room, when I had asked for non-smoking, then told me they could not change it. The "buffet" is cold bagels and bad coffee. The bed was so hard I ended up switching to the couch. The maid came at 8 am on Sunday to ask if I was ready to check out. And then they over charged me for an extra night. Absolutely awful.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is centrally located to many Fort Meyers locations. The Twins minor leaguers moved in later in my stay which raises the noise level between 10-12pm. My only real complaint is that you can hear doors banging in the halls. The pool area is well kept and clean.

The dining room staff seemed a bit unattentive, plus they were unable to offer bread during the evening meal. Another diner ordered filet mignon and was told they were out of that item! I ordered salmon and was brought steak (which I, of course, returned). The only thing in favor of their dining room was that I didn't have to get back in my car and drive somewhere to eat. Other than that, it was not worth what was charged.

The staff were great and very accomidating. Hotel clean and well kept.

My only complaint, noisy a/c. Otherwise, great place to stay.

We went on a much deserved week vacation. I have to say we went on a shoe string budget. But when we arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ft. Myers we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful & kind. The location was great. The pool was closed for a couple of days, but we were not there for the pool. The restaurant had great food, but there was plenty of choices close drive by. The room was clean and comfortable. The value was fantastic. The only complaint I would have would be noisy people next door. But that I mark up to rudeness on their part, not the Hotel. All things said - a really nice place at a really nice price.

Very nice staff, over and beyond! The first 2 nights we had a king room near the elevator. The bed had dial controls that did not work. We ended up in the center of the bed in a ditch! And a constant motor was running somewhere in the room and the hall that kept us up @ night. We asked to switch rooms and ended up in a wonderful room on the 5th floor. The bed was was comfortable and so much better! Plus there was no motor noise!! Restaurant was great!!!!

Within one mile from the theatre. Perfect for theatre goers!

Clean room and a good atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. Onsite restaurant offered great breakfast.

Room was large and well appointed. Staff was very friendly. Pool hours were flexible. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
