Crestwood Suites Fort Myers

Carpeting dirty and in needs replacement, sofa bed had tears in the cushions, plastic floor molding missing in the bathroom, hot-cold water knobs were reversed in the bathroom, queen size beds are small, lumpy but firm mattress, very low thread count sheets, staff friendly and helpful, they searched for a long time, but did not find, a cork screw we asked to borrow to open a bottle of wine.

We picked this hotel because the location was great for a quick one-night stay and the price was attractive. We booked last minute during a holiday weekend and the choices were slim. If you're used to staying in higher end hotels this is going to be a huge reality check. I'm no diva; I've grown up camping in a tent (which I def would have preferred to this place). While I couldn't fall asleep I actually crafted this review in my head. I thought the dripping water in the bathroom would keep me awake but that was nothing to the herd of elephants on the second floor that suddenly awoke at 12pm. Then at 1pm it seemed as if everyone on the second floor opened and shut their doors at least 3 times each. Needless to say you can hear everything! The bed linens were old and shabby and I definitely didn't take my shoes off the whole time. Yes, there is a kitchen but we didn't need that for the one night that we stayed there. I think this was the worst nights sleep that I got in years. I was happy to be checking out the next morning.

the stay a crestwood was not a great time : room service only once ( we were there a week) on wednesday : every night I had go to ask for towels,and on two night they didn't have any : had to go in lobby to get wifi: for the last morning I call for a wake up call and never got it .........we're never staying there again

Room smelled . ask for another room. the guy at the desk said they we soldout. there was not 10 cars in lot all nite... did everyone walk in?????? not good service at all. never again!

We loved staying at the Crestwood Suites. It was like we had our own little apartment: full kitchen, bath, bedroom. There is a washer/dryer too! We could cook and eat a meal in the hotel, or we could go out to different restaurants. It felt like having our own apartment in FL! It was a great location. It's about a 20 minute drive to Ft. Myers or Sanibel. We loved the location because you never got caught in beach traffic (unless you were headed to the beach). :-)

For the cost, the hotel was not a bad value. However, the rooms are old, towels are hard to come by, no turn down service, no pool and nothing on site except for a vending machine. Hotel smelled slightly and rooms are in need of upgrades. Molding in the bathroom was coming up around the tub, shower heads barely spit water out...If you really need to save money, it's okay if you are just sleeping here. If you want to spend some time at your hotel...look elsewhere.

We ended up switching to another motel because the room was so bad here. First, the only room they had was a smoking room. Who even allows smoking in their rooms anymore? Second, the room was old and run down -- the couch looked like someone had let their cat use it like a scratching post, it was all torn up with holes in it!! And the bed was hard and though we did not find any, in my mind it sort of screamed "bed bugs". (again we did not actually find any. this was just the feeling it gave us) However the woman at the desk was AWESOME. She was so helpful and called cheap tickets for us to cancel our reservation.

When we go there the fire marshal had just finished allowing everyone back in the building because of a carbon monoxide leak from the past two days and had sent two families to the hospital, apparently this was second time this has happened. Second everytime we needed towels there were never enough. Third when we needed toilet paper there also wasn't enough. Fourth the Internet never worked and constantly was out. We found a roach on the floor in the bathroom and someone else Kleenex in the drawer in the room. Location was decent we weren't that far from a restaurant, mall or beach. Staff was very friendly throughout stay.

Needs better maintenance, but basically clean. I must mention the desk a charming young woman named Symphony was very helpful and really made up for some of the hotel short comings.

Desk staff were excellent and helpful; rooms were clean; only problem was we weren't told that there was no daily maid service and that new towels weren't provided unless you asked for them. Rates were good-would stay there again now that we know the ropes.
