Lower your expectations
The room was clean. We ran out of towels on last morning. The tub tended to fill during showers but the hotel sent their engineer up to fix the problem on same day, The toilet was slow to flush, The staff were polite and welcoming.

The location was great. Cookies on check in were delicious. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We asked for extra towels and they were given. Needed to know about the nearest church of our faith and we got a printout. Newpapers were available every morning. Breakfast is served buffet style with more than enough choices. Nice pool, clean and well maintained. Our only problem was there was only one washer and dryer and we had a difficult time getting to use it because other travelers often had them in use when we had the time to do our laundry. Needless to say we brought home the dirty laundry.We were able to return the unopened and unused complimentary detergent and they bought back our quarters that we did not use.So again the staff was very accomodating. We would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

A short drive down Rte. 75 N off MLKing Blvd is a comfort food restaurant called Oasis. You'll get a hug from the friendly owner and good comfort food. Sunday mornings and spring training game days can be busy but worth the wait.

It didn't smell like the other hotels in the area. Simple, clean and in a good location. It wasn't to cold because most hotels are freezing. You have to pay for continental breakfast. But I stay here everytime I come.

very nice hotel
The beaches are very nice and there are lots of them to visit. Shelling and loafing on the beach was so relaxing. We also enjoyed an airboat ride through the Everglades. The boat ride to Key West is a fun way to spend a day.

Get an area map and go have fun! Fort Meyers is very easy to get around and this motel is right in the middle of the fun.

Perfect spot to cover the area
Convenient to everything in the Ft Myers area. We were house hunting in Cape Coral, Naples and found this to be an excellent place to work from. Restaurant next door, Millers' Ale House, is everything you need for every night of the week. Hotel was clean, extremely well maintained and comfortable.
