The Travelodge Fort Lauderdale is located only 1.5 miles from the beach and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our location makes it an easy drive to Galleria Mall, the Sawgrass Outlets, Port Everglades and the Fort Lauderdale Airport. We are across the street from the 92 acre Holiday Park which offers among other amenities a walking trail, the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center and a children's playground. The Travelodge Fort Lauderdale offers our guests a complimentary continental breakfast, an outdoor pool, free local calls and satellite TV with 3 HBO's.

unrespectfull Staff

The person who check me in thru a window was very rough and arrogant. The room was clean but the door lock was missaligned, so it did not lock completely. I did not want to go downstairs and complain to that type of staff, so I rather to secure the door with the desk chair. I will never ever book a travelodge hotel again.

Relaxing Stress Buster

This Travel Lodge was not clean and unkept. The location was a prime location, however the owner did not seem to understand the value of good customer service. He was not very friendly and didn't seem to realize it.

Horrible experience

This facility has been completely neglected. There were holes in the ceiling of the room and the bathroom and the bathroom door. The toilet was leaking water onto the bathroom floor. Both beds had sheets with holes in them. The latch to lock the door was broken, and there were two bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. [...]

somewhat grungy, would not recommend

carpet in room very dirty with embedded stains, sticky. Not vacuumed toilet seat needed to be changed, old plastic, scratched. ratty towels bed was good and comfortable, but I don't think the sheets were changed every other day. security lock on door broken seats on the chairs stained and torn in breakfast room, seats were stained. a grungy hotel, but then what do you expect for $40 a night?

Great getaway, hotel ok

The hotel is in a great location, easy to get around.The hotel staff was accommodating, but there were a couple of days where my room was not cleaned. any problems that I had ( and there were very few) was addressed promptly by the staff. I think that the hotel was a great value, but it could use some renovations. I found the hotel very quiet at night being that the location is situated on a major thoroughfare.
