The Travelodge Fort Lauderdale is located only 1.5 miles from the beach and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Our location makes it an easy drive to Galleria Mall, the Sawgrass Outlets, Port Everglades and the Fort Lauderdale Airport. We are across the street from the 92 acre Holiday Park which offers among other amenities a walking trail, the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center and a children's playground. The Travelodge Fort Lauderdale offers our guests a complimentary continental breakfast, an outdoor pool, free local calls and satellite TV with 3 HBO's.

Not so great stay

I never look for the greatest places to stay, but I want it to be comfortable and decent. The bed was not comfortable, neither were the pillows. The air conditioner, we determined, couldn't be left on too long to keep the room cool or ice would form by the vents and wouldn't blow cool air after a point. The wi fi wasn't that strong and was problematic. And in the shower, when you pull up the stopper on the tub faucet to switch the water flow to the shower head, the faucet would pull away from the wall. Not to mention the chipping paint and smell in the elevator...I don't think I will be returning to the hotel.

Quick Business Trip

Not bad, rooms look better than the outside of the building. TV's can be updated, I couldn't remember the last time I saw a tube tv. Overall I would stay again on a crunch.

unrespectfull Staff

The person who check me in thru a window was very rough and arrogant. The room was clean but the door lock was missaligned, so it did not lock completely. I did not want to go downstairs and complain to that type of staff, so I rather to secure the door with the desk chair. I will never ever book a travelodge hotel again.

OK for Stop Over

This was just stopover hotel for us to take overnight break. So were not having high expectations. Good for my purpose at the price.

Do not stay here! It is ghetto!

Some crackhead banged at our room door at 1am for 10 minutes screaming for Jenna. They do not offer continental breakfast even though it is offered online in the hotel description. Old very dated rooms. Towels were dirty. Sand was all over the room. Located in the bad area of town.

IT WAS OK

IT WAS OK BUT THE ROOM WAS STINK CAUSE I REQUESTED A NON SMOKING ROOM BUT WHEN I GOT THERE, THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE'S NO MORE NON SMIKING ROOM.

Bring a weapon with you

It was probably the worst motel I have stayed in. I was there on business and had prepaid. If i hadn't prepaid I would have never have stayed there. The only good things that i can say are that they have free wfi and it works and that the shower was worked well.
