The Westin Fort Lauderdale

the hotel is great but no coffee shops , we didnt have a car which we did rent once we got there , there is no shuttles or anything . but the worse for me was we would go into the hot tub but when we got back in room to bathe for dinner there were never no towels , we even went out bought few towels when we ask they would say we are waiting to have them sent up every two days we would get one one day we only got wash cloths and they took dirty towels so we didnt have anything to dry on was a mess , people are very nice they just need few more hundred towels

The room was a mini-suite with more space than appropriate furnishings. It badly needed a couch to effectively use the space. The bathroom was very mundane.

The hotel staff themselves were nice and helpful. However, we were kicked out of the pool area due to a wedding. This upset my husband enough that he won't go back.

The only reason I selected this hotel was because of the heated out door pool. Once there I found out that the pool is not heated which was a big dissappoinment.

I have stayed at other Westin hotels, this one by far is the worst ....I didnt even feel like I was at Westin hotel.

We had a great stay until we were charged $100 for a phone call that was not made from our room (it was made from a previous guest)that almost ruined the stay.And charging for parking daily also put a damper on things.

We stayed at this place for 4 nights: Most of the Hotel was clean but our room was not, the trash was not emptied daily and the counters look very dusty, we asked for mouthwash to the house keeping person and it was never brought to us, she was always out of something, ie shampoo, body lotion etc..

I had lots of issues with this hotel: The staff was not kind The bathroom has meldew The bathroom is very small Not close to restaurants or fun places or to the beach.

It was further from my family & airport than anticipated, Had a leak in rm above, people kept coming in my room, even though I was not there.Put me in another room w/ awesome view. Pool was too warm, hallways were freezing, no lil fridges. It was not like other Westins I have stayed in. On the other hand, My rooms were immaculate, all hotel staff were overly accommodating, they helped in every aspect I needed. I was really pleased. Did not like that I had to pay for parking. This was also taken care of. So in all very good experience! Thank you staff!

The rooms were nice but next time I will stay closer to a beach and where I don';t have to pay for parking and other things. You can';t even park by a beach without paying. Really nothing to do in area. Had to drive to eat, shop etc.
