Nice Hotel

Enjoyed stay, but wouldn't rush back. Valet parking at $28 is a bit steep. Room service menu limited. Mini bar sundries outrageously expensive and no gift shop for sundries. Pool area very pleasant. Location is great. Spa and Gym were great. Room was nice, but nothing special.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take a right on main street and CVS is about 1/2 mile up the street and stocked with everything, including wine and beer.

The 3030 Ocean Restaurant located down the boulevard at the Marriott Resort is fantastic. Also, you will love the Venice Cruise of the mansions and other interesting places.

Room 608

The overall stay at the Atlantic was 4 star but room 608 was like the stepchild of the hotel. The first day my family and I checked in quickly and left the room to enjoy the beach. The second day is when I noticed the problems with the room such as the shower knob was broken ( it constantly fell down while turning on/off), the handle on the shower glass door was broken, the tub drained water slowly, the television didn't have great reception (channels were fuzzy-too just plain blank), and the bathroom was not stocked with face towels. The food was tasty but the prices are hefty. Room service is prompt but The Atlantic is drastically understaffed in the housekeeping department. My room WAS NOT cleaned on the second day of stay until I made a call. I made the call around 4pm. Most rooms with guests are cleaned by 2pm. That is standard for all 4-5star hotels.

worth every penny

Although this hotel was a bit more expensive than others on the beach, it was clearly worth it. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and clean. The room service, pool, spa and fitness center were top notch. You clearly get what you pay for.

Romantic Boutique Hotel

We booked this hotel for a quiet get-away and were not disappointed. The Hotel was first rate, from our experience at the spa to an enjoyable dinner on-site, it was just what we had hoped for. The $28/ day parking fee is high especially when they validate the parking for diners of their restaurant.

Best hotel in Ft Lauderdale, amazing restaurant

I am a snobby Manhattanite, and I approve of this hotel. My room was palatial! So much marble! The bathroom had a deep bathtub, a separate marble shower stall, and a separate bathroom stall, plus enough room outside the bathroom for a vanity area. Lovely. Shutters over the desk opening into a city view was a gorgeous touch. To get to the beach, you have to walk across a four-lane road, which is Ft. Lauderdale's ridiculous city planning mistake, but no reflection on this gorgeous hotel. Beautiful lobby. A bit of beachiness to the decor, but not too much. The hotel restaurant is a totally credible brasserie -- exactly the kind of French place that dots Manhattan, except with more personal space and nicer staff.

Great Getaway with a wonderful view

We chose the Atlantic Hotel after reading all of the reviews from other Hotels located on A1, Ft. Lauderdale, and to say the least, we were not disappointed. Our room which was ocean front had a fantastic view and a balcony. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrise each morning. The room was just wonderful with a hugh bathroom and a very nice kitchen area. Everything in the room was spotless. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location of the hotel is only a few blocks from all of the action and we were able to walk a few blocks to catch the water taxi, that will pretty much take you any where you wish to go. We just wanted rest and relaxation so it was a perfect location for us.
