Sea Club Resort

The woman from the front desk was rude,the hotel is old and creepy,dirty and a very pungent smell all over...My husband had breakfast on the terrace and the presentation of the food was not attractive at all;the server,an old lady,ignored us completely passing by couple of times...no server at the table...I went to find one of them and she told me "your server will be with you"...another 10 minutes and she came,the same person...she treated us like we were from the streets and we came to beg for food,no hospitality...overall our experience was not pleasant at all but the good part it was that we stayed one night only.

very very bad dirty room prev.out of service.bathroom very dirty had to call staff to clean smells we had to spnd a hor. night there.next day toilet over flow gave us a different room 8:00 am till 1:30pm with no where to go told us there were no rooms aval.

This was one of the worst hotels we ever stayed in.None of the pictures from their webiste remotely resemble the facility itself.The entire place smelled awful;there was no A/C in common areas (lobby,hallways). When we first got to our room,we found out it had never been cleaned (bed messed up,bathroom with towels on the floor).The room we finally got had a chipped bathtub.Just horrible! Lynne and Ron Curr

Pros: By the beach, nice location Cons: Rooms filthy, pay people to give false reviews (how else could there be 5 star reviews when so many people are disgusted by the place), beds from the 60s, compressed, creak when you slightly move on them and are yellowish due to age, poor maintenance, and bugs. Sleazy manager Ronan. We called the health inspector based on our 2 hours in this hotel. I cannot stress enough to stay away from this place. Advice: stay at a better hotel in the same location. If you unfortunate enough to end up here cut your losses and book another hotel. It's not worth ruining your vacation over.

Great pace but need an especial atraction or more music, a dance place.

Omgsh- Where do I start. Hotel was Extremely RUN down, dirty, dark smelled of mold. Beds were old and squeeky- Sheets & bedding old. Bathroom was run down. We wasted 30 minutes here. Had a reservation for 2 full size beds, got upgraded to "Suite"...It was even more discusting- We checked out and stayed at another hotel. This was the scariest hotel I have been too ever. Staff was apologetic, but rooms were NOT what they show online to be! The hotel is right on the beach, with a small pool. Thats all i can say. DO NOT stay here!

WOW!! My sister, mom & I booked this hotel online after reading the reviews & looking at website! TOTALLY decieving! Very run down, OLD, dirty, and some parts of this hotel are scary!! We checked in, went to our room, asked to be upgraded to suite- Suite was even worse! Terrible, run down, gloomy & smelled of mold!! GROSS!! We checked out immediatley & moved to the Renaissance Hotel down the road. We didnt actually see a roach, because we werent there long enough, but REALLY it was BAD!!!!

I checked in the day the "hurricane/tropical storm started". When we were given our room it was nice, clean and convient. Unfortunatly the AC was not working. We immediately called down and they moved our room without any trouble or hassle and as we were going into the next room the sent someone right up to fix the AC in the previous room. The power did go in and out due to the storm but it was never off long enough for it to be a serious problem. I mean it's a storm, what do you expect? For the price of this hotel it was great. Would definitely recommend it and I will be back!

Amazing what they can do with pictures. What you see is not necessarily what you get. The rooms were old, but for the most part clean. Their back-up generator was not able to handle the effects of a tropical storm and they lost power. I would select another hotel next time.
