Not what I expected!
Will not go to hotel again. The carpet was dirty, the tv didn't work we had to be relocated to another room. The water taps were broken, towels are old with stains. The good side - it is right across from the beach and parking was free. The Deck was fun! You have to pay a safe deposit each day whether or not u use it.

So-So Mediocre
Upon check in, the front desk pushed a statement circling $50 Deposit charged to my card (to be returned at check-out) and having already paid for the room - it put me off. Another customer behind us, tracked us down and said he refused to stay there after seeing the room. Our "king" bed springs did not provide for a restfull sleep in addition to a loud argument ensued at 11:30pm waking me up. BUT as the saying goes - 'you get what you pay for'...

could have been worse.
Read, explored Ft. Lauderdale. Carpets were vacuumed but not clean. Only had one cleaning lady and she was overworked. At 6PM she still had half of the 4th floor to clean.

not a great choice, give me a motel 6
the hotel was horrible, not worth the money, so i gather you should not sell it at all, nothing seemed clean, ratty bathrooms. The hotel clerk wanted to charge me 2.25 for the safe in the room, i refused , but stated it wasd a hotel policy, i did nto use the safe and refused to pay the 2.25 on principle. They didnt appreciate but resistance.the only good thin was that the car renatl let me upgrade my sedan to a sports car for 50.00 a day.The airline was the airline, no frills,ok,but the hotel was awful.Suggest you find a nother one for your travlers, just didnt feel clean at all ,how about a refund on that part

Total Let down and disappointed
first thing is we booked a smoking room and there is no smoking in the hotels in florida. So that option should state all rooms are non smoking.second we had a late check in at midnight and they wanted another $50 deposit which was not stated on the web page.thrid we knew the hotel was older and we have stayed in older hotels but this was just horrible. front desk was very short and rude. the pictures of the rooms on the web page are false. we stayed in room 222 it had holes in bathroom walls, half way painted, cracked pictures, dust on tv, cracks running thru the tile in the bathroom, hair on the floor, tub and toilet, baseboards broken and missing from around room and the sliding glass door had to use a safety pin to keep lock. The view from the balcony was looking at the hotel next to us. Everytime some one next to our room used the water the pipes would rattle and make a noise. I should of known this was not a safe or clean place to stay was when we check in the front desk clerk told us up front make sure we lock up anything valuable in our room safe. This was of course for a $2 charge per day and scared my wife. On top of all of this the deck restrauant and bar closed early both saturday and sunday night due to no business. Would not recommend anyone to stay here after we walk down fort lauderdale beach boulavard there are alot of hotel on the road that looked afer and cleaner for the same price.[...]

Quick and easy to get to the beach but chair and umbrella rental is $50 a day on the beach so use the chair/towel that hotel provides and carry it across the street or bring an upgraded beach chair with you from home or a local store.

Very Bad!
Great front desk staff. Great views and hamburgers at the attached outdoor bar. Great staff there also. The rooms are dirty and in dire need of help. We put towels in the holes in the inside walls to keep whatever out. Loud and rude druggie guests in other rooms. Lots of traffic and traffic noise but rooms are quite. Overall the hotel is old and worn out.
