Affordable oceanfront Fort Lauderdale hotel with pool
The Sea Club Resort attracts travelers who appreciate an on-site pool, easy beach access, and rooms with waterfront views. Guests indulge in ocean views from The Deck Restaurant or pick up souvenirs in the gift shop downstairs. The hotel is situated on the Fort Lauderdale Promenade and is within driving distance to posh Las Olas Boulevard and Port Everglades. The Sea Club Resort even has a charming parrot named Toukie, its mascot for more than a decade.

Horrible!
The only thing going for this hotel is the location, which is directly across from the beach. The rooms are outdated and smell bad (had to buy candles to diffuse the odors.) And there were four of us in the room, so tight quarters and after the first night only one bath towel was hanging after housekeeping made up the room. I approached the housekeeper in the hall, and she would only give me one additional towel ... mumbling something about inventory! I won't ever stay here again.

STAY AWAY!
I have never wrote a review for anything before,good or bad. I have traveled alot and have seen many ranges of hotels both good and bad. The only thing I could recommend to you for this hotel is to take it off of your web site! If we would not have booked it for 2 weeks we would have just taken the loss and stayed at another hotel and taken the loss. This place should really be shut down by the board of health. We read all of the reviews before and thought it really can't be that bad. We were wrong,by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. everything else in our package was fine but you really need to take this hotel opition off of you site.

excellent location good for the price
The staff was excellent. Susan had a screw driver to fix my glasses, knew where to purchase a cell phone charger and was able to get coffee for an unusually early riser.

St. Croix Lime
You Get What You Pay For
It was a nice location by the beach with a friendly staff. The rooms are old and the bedding is sub-par. Loud air conditioner and damp musty feel to the room. Strange room safe charge adds a touch of the ridiculous to the checkout experience. It was in the budget, though.

Nice but not for long
So is an old hotel. Great location, and maybe good for its price but its kind of typical motel but not hotel look.

Older hotel, But good location and fair price.
This hotel is older and dated but it is on the beach and is in a good location. If you are looking a good location for a good price this hotel could work for you. If you are looking for a nice clean resort style hotel you should stay away from this one.

If you are on Ft. Lauderdale you have to take the harbor cruise. I highly recommend the Jungle Queen river boat/ harbor cruise.

Good location, poor hotel
The location is great. Right across from the beach! For the $60 I paid, it was worth it. But, the hotel itself is, just as others stated, run down. If you want a nice hotel, this is not it. But, if you want a cheap place near the beach and don't care about the actual hotel, then it's a good deal. There's also free parking.

bad hotiel
hoiel needs a lot of work on it very bad hotiel beds ar not good .The beds are not comfortable and bed sheets are mess.One bed had boards in the bed under the sheets that were loose and moving around while you were trying to sleep. carpets were so filthy you had to leave your shoes on. There were no closets to put your clothes in.bed covers were old and dirty and torn. There was nothing decent in that place. Elevators didn,t work all the time. Never would I recomed or step into that place again. We should get a refund.
