Great place for the price!

This is a great hotel especially considering how cheap it is! Room was clean and bigger than expected, the outdoor pool area is amazing, and the staff were great! The only drawback is that although it looks extremely close to the beach, the hotels and condos are all private access only to get to the beach, and the public access area is kind of far. My solution to this was to use the private access beach at the Ocean Mannor resort a few buildings away.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a pier about a mile away with a ton of little beach shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Definely an area worth going to!

Wonderful Experience

Our stay was perfect! Room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping staff was prompt. Tiki Bar was fabulous. Nan, Willie, and "lil" Nancy were top notch. Food and beverages were ample and very reasonable. Pharmacy, supermarket and beach within walking distance. Pool area immaculate. Front desk staff were very attentive to all our needs, even Googling directions to anywhere we wanted to go. Plan on staying there again in September prior to a cruise.

Nice runaway spot for tired New Yorkers

I went out on a limp booking over night. When I first got there the nice lady at the front desk wasn't able to locate me in their system but fixed it pretty quickly plus a room upgrade to king size with partial ocean view. Excited! The whole place must've just gotten remodeled. Rooms are clean and new. I immediately felt like home. Room service was a bit odd in the morning because it was delivered in a foam box and bag like restaurant take out ... I did not repeat that, but rather chose to be at the bar for the following meals which was always crowded by regulars and guests alike. Midnight swim? No problem. The public beach entrance a good walk away, but def worth it.

First Time in Ft. Lauderdale

This was my first time staying in Ft. Lauderdale. The city is no where near as busy as Miami/South Beach but the bartenders were awesome, the pool was 24hours (i think), the room was nice and clean and that lobby TO DIE FOR!!! I took a million pics and so did all my friends! The food from the kitchen was pretty good and the drinks were NOT watered down! Even tho we had to drive to South Beach to party, this was a good place to come "home to" every night we were there.

There is a McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and Wings gift shop down the road to the left. Had we not struck off walking, we never would have found all those places.

Stayed for Business Trip

Hotel surpassed expectations. Was recently renovated and the new look is top of the line. Located across from the beach, completely new rooms, great staff, amazing amenities, and wonderful price. Overall was very satisfied and would stay again. Only down side could find is the bathrooms did not have a ventilation fan.

nice hotel, description deceiving

We were under the impression that this hotel was directly on the beach. This was the main reason we booked it. Great price for right on the beach...should've been the first clue. Easy walk or drive to the beach though. Pool is nice and warm and quiet. Get there early because it is shaded over by 3-4 pm.

One Night Stay In Fort Lauderdale

We arrived early from a cruise & got into our room without having to wait. First time that has happened for us. The man at the desk could not of been more helpful. He also printed out our boarding passes for our plane trips the next day, as the hotel computer for guests wasn't working. Our room was a very pleasant surprise. Very large, clean, pleasant room with fridge, micro wave & safe. Large bed. We ate on the veranda overlooking the street. Would stay here again. Lovely area, close to beach. Hotel does not have shuttle to cruise port or hotel. Taxi cost us $28 with light traffic around 08:00 A.M.
