Laurie Winter stay
We stayed at the Riverside for a wedding. The room was great, except when we made our reservation it said there would be a mini fridge. Once we got there the mini fridge was $10 per day. We had bought groceries at the store for the weekend and they all went bad. Also, the maid service did not come in at all our first day Fri-Sat and we ran out of towels.

Relaxing oasis during the boat show
Two initial rooms offered had terrible views. When requesting (demanding) a better room, received a lovely room with view and balcony on top floor. Very much appreciated and enjoyed. Great area and amenities all close by makes a working stay feel like a vacation. Staff were all great!

Great Hotel/Great Locale
Perfect location for beginning of cruise as it's in the Port Authority vicinity; outdoor festival w/lots of noise but couldn't be heard through the heavy panes of glass in room. Staff very nice. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Elegant lady
Classy and elegant
The location was perfect for a one night stay and last minute trip. The hotel is classy and there is the old luxury feel. A good stay for a short stay. Easy to find a restaurant and music entertainment.

What's the beef:
Don't understand the complaints. Three of us stayed in the older section as part of a package deal. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and quiet as Grant's tomb. One of the rooms had a problem with the regulation of the hot and cold water coming from the shower and when we complained we were given a replacement room in the new tower section. Indigo restaurant rapido and good for breakfast.
