Great Hotel !
Stayed a few days prior to cruise. Right in the middle of the action. Need a short cab ride to beach - great (but pricey) shopping. Cheesecake factory right next door. (Yum) This hotel is in A Beautiful location. Restaurant in house (also a little pricey) but good.

Las Olas riverfront
You're paying for the location in the Las Olas riverfront area. Expect a fair amount of minor irritations from this hotel. No deal breakers but it all adds up to noticeable mediocrity. We couldn't adjust or even turn off the room a/c unit. One set of drapes would not close. This is a very old structure that must have been cheaply remodeled many times. But the rate is good for the area. This is the tradeoff.

Stylish and comfortable
Riverside Hotel ..this is my fourth visit to Fort Lauderdale from Australia, and I can only give this hotel my highest recommendation. It is perfectly located for City shopping and transport...love the water taxi almost at the door. And fronting Las Alos Bvde. The hotel has a style and grace to it. The dining service was a little below what I have come to expect, but overall excellent, and pricing that continues to be surprisingly reasonable.

Convienent location
Our room was clean as was the bathroom. The halls needed a paint job though. Staff was friendly. However, we asked for extra bathroom linens and the front desk staff us that our linens would be taken to our room. we never did get our extra towels. The Las Olas area was crowded and a lively Saturday night scene.

an old hotel with a new look.
Flew in from Minneapolis for a friends birthday party.we loved the hotel restaurant on the las olas blvd. Our room was furnished very well and the corridor carpeting was lovely. elevators were quick to respond. Our first time vist but not our last. We loved the experience of thhe Riversdie hotel.

excellant stay
This is a great place to stay! 5 star service. Stayed in the Executive Tower - a great view of the city and ocean and the room was HUGE !! Service is outstanding! I have already arranged for my next stay!

Relaxing oasis during the boat show
Two initial rooms offered had terrible views. When requesting (demanding) a better room, received a lovely room with view and balcony on top floor. Very much appreciated and enjoyed. Great area and amenities all close by makes a working stay feel like a vacation. Staff were all great!
