Good Hotel for Pre-cruise stay

We have stayed here 4 time, always the night before a cruise. Two good restaurants within 1 block walking distance. Drug ... store across the street and liquor store 4 to 5 blocks away. So good location to stay at the night before taking a cruise. Also, the free breakfast buffet was terrific, but, you can't always get the free breakfast deal at this hotel.

Very,very nice place; cannot say enough about the room. Staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was top-notch, fresh ... fruit, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and coffee!! The Bravo restaurant, across parking lot from hotel, was just absolutely superb.

A great place to stay

We were looking for a place to be safe and clean, we found most of what we expect. The room was just like the picture shown ... in the internet when we book it, the stuff is very very friendly and nice, the food was delicious, the view...PERFECT, my 3 years old son did not want to leave the pool!!!! We had a great time. Is close to everything walgreens, publix, and fast food restaurants...We just love it!!!

Just a short ride 8minutes to LuLu's on the beach will get you all the people watching you want. And everything about the renaissance is very nice. You will be surprised how few people are in the dining room once you eat there. Good views of the harbor or waterway.

A great place to stay

As a couple we have stayed a few times at the renaissance. One of the best pools and hot tubs with privacy and never anyone ... in them. Great food and drink. Location is perfect along the waterway but a very short cab or car drive to LU LU's and other fun night spots.

the renaissance ft lauderdale was a very comfortable and clean place to stay food was very. good staff was friendly. the ... location to the cruise port was close the only drawback was the confussion trying to leave to go to the port lots of people trying to leave at the same time and no orginazation

Our stay at the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale was very enjoyable. It was a short stay - only one night - but it was pleasant. ... The Renaissance had obviously been updated in decor, was clean, comfortable and the staff was great. Everything was in working order and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. It was easy access to the airport and to the cruise port. I would definitely stay again on a return trip to Ft. Lauderdale.

The Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale was redecorated and was very pleasing. The staff went out of their way to make our stay the ... best possible. The rooms were very comfortable and had adequate space. Big closets in the rooms. The hotel is located right across from the convention center and very near the beach. The whole experience was great while staying at the Renaisance Ft. Lauderdale! I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel to stay if you are going on a cruise out of Port Everglades. Close to the port. Rooms very clean. ... Staff very friendly and helpful. Taxis are ready and waiting if needed. short taxi ride to LOS OLAS street. Where there are great restaurants and shops. Food by the pool was good. Bartender very friendly. Rooms very clean, bed comfortable vanilla creamer for my coffee in morning.
