Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort

This was one of the greatest hotels I have stayed at in Ft. Lauderdale. From the desk staff to the maintenance crew, each person went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were neat and tidy and the foyer was well decorated. With only a few steps to the beach, one could not ask for better accommodations. We will definitely select this hotel again. We loved it!

My stay at Ocean Sky hotel was horrible. A stack of papers were on the front desk when i checked in stating that some of the balconies were under construction. After reading the paper the attendant said all of the balconies were under construction. It didn't stop there. After waking up to men doing construction on the balcony next to my window with a VERY LOUD DRILL, DID I SAY LOUD?, I had to spend the remainder of one of the two days I had on the phone with orbit to change my hotel. Even with these horrible conditions the hotel manager refused to give me credit for the first night. Ocean Sky was not concerned with the comfort and safety of the guess. There are plenty of other hotels in Ft. Lauderdale. Stay at Ocean Sky hotel at your own risk.

Flew from Michigan for a few days at the ocean. Was not told of the construction until the next day when I woke up to men on my balcony taking away all of the furniture. Next day the balcony was locked. After being told on the phone that they had no rooms on the other side of the building, I went to the lobby and magically they had one. Early morning loud construction sounds for the next 2 days. Cable TV went out on 2 days. Nice to be on the ocean with pool and hot tub but I went home unrefreshed and tired.

If you are looking for a 3 + ***, don't go there. It's really a 2 1/2 * on the rooms with nice lobby & front beach access. $ 10.00 daily valet parking, which is good. The walls are very thin & we could hear our next room neighbors. The beach access & pool are nice. Internet access was gone 1/2 of the time, the sink & tub got clogged so the had to come & repair. If you have kids they will like it.

Other then the water pressure in the shower, everyone was very nice and helpful. Nice room, nice hotel.

Needed a place for one night before going on a cruise. The Hotel was clean, pool area & bathrooms clean and best of all it's right on the beach. For the money it was a great location; close to airport & cruise terminals. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. We were traveling with kids and spent all day in pool and on beach.

Great Location for a family Getaway, Not such a good location if you want to go to the clubs, or 'Las Olas BLVD'. Beach was nice and clean, but very short (the sand was only about 25 feet, not a lot of room to lay out) There is a pool and jacuzzi and tiki bar on deck. Clean Clean Clean. Rooms where nice. Balcony's are connected,so you can basically go into your neighbors balcony if you wanted to. Nice Quiet Area. Very nice concierge(s). Is nicer than Ocean Manor next door, but the hotel on the other side looked nicer. Ocean Manor has the largest Tiki Bar in Ft Lauderdale on property. Staff were nice. Free Beach Towels were provided. It was a good time.

Beautiful lobby. Friendly staff. Rooms were small and musty smelling. Wasnt impresssed with the fact you have to pay for parking everyday. Overall a decent place. Would consider returning if i wasnt able to find a nicer place for same price

We wanted rest and just relax on the beach,hot top and pool clean and always open, staff was very nice and helpful, Edy from tiki bar was making delicious drinks "miami vise" excellent!!Overall good place to relax

I was a business trip but was glad to be able to jump in the ocean at end of the day
