Motel 6 Ft Lauderdale

Chose to come here after surgery. Bad Bad choice. Bugs in my food, worms in my shoes, noise all night & day from kids living there. No rest or good recovery. Had to move 3 different room's. All rooms are smoking rooms(at least it smelt like it). The worst experience ever in a motel / hotel.

Room was musty and sheets had cigarette burn holes in our non smoking room. Pool area was nice. We had an early checkout and couldn't get the clerk to wake up to check us out. Overall I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Conveniently located near FLL, I-95, the resort beach and on SR-84 (the marina mile). Spartan rooms but a good price for the location while awaiting connecting flights.

I would take this hotel off your list this place is horrible I have never written a negative report in my life

Outside of a horrible start with the hotel having lost our reservation, the hotel in general is just not that clean and a bit sketchy. Ironically, after shutting the door to our hotel room, we noticed the "For Your Protection When In Room Engage Deadbolt And Security Latch". Naturally, the security latch in our room was broken.... AWESOME. We were generally uncomfortable being in our room and even getting into the bed. The loud and boisterous clientele didn't help that situation either. We DO NOT recommend anyone stay here!

This was a great hotel for the price that other hotels were charging this weekend. The staff was great; only issue was ice machine was broken.

Great value and great location, access to everything. Noticed they replacing all mattresses, Did not have chance to use good looking pool.

Booked this hotel because it was close to the airport. We were only there one night Thank goodness. Room was dirty and had an odor. I left our lights on all night because I did not feel safe. My husband did not appreciate trying to sleep with the lights on but it was the only way I would go to bed. Would not recomend this place to anyone.

Worst experience at a hotel we ever had! We looked for cheap and that's what we got. After we checked in, we went to our room (on the way we noticed the very dirty carpets), used the card to open the door and it only opened 2 inches because of the inside latch. I yelled out "Hello" twice, then from the dark room we heard in a hungover type of voice of a man say "Hellloooo." We also smelled smoking (not cigarettes!) ushering from out of the room. Scared out of our wits (myself and my family) we quickly ran down the stairs (no elevator) back to the lobby. When we told the clerk our story she said in a nonchalant manner, "No one is supposed to be in that room." At that moment we saw a scraggly man come from upstairs and go into the laundry room and he kept peeking out at us. My wife told the clerk that might be the man who was in our room, but the clerk didn't seem to care. We got our refund with no questions asked. From there we and all our bags walked down the street and we did not look back.

Traveling on business. Got to the hotel at midnight. The parking lot was not well lit. People loitering in the parking lot appeared to be casing my vehicle or me. Area in general did not seam safe. The stair wells used to access second level smelled of Urine and looked like an ash tray. Rooms and hallways were dirty and smelled of smoke. I will not stay in another Motel 6. To many bad experiences with theft, etc. It was close to the airport and that is about the only positive.
