It was more than I thought it would be, especially for what I paid for it. I am far from high maintenance, so I found this ... hotel to be perfectly fine. If you're looking for luxury, not the place for you. The hotel is simple, clean, and sufficient for a couple of days. Great breakfast! Not at all what I thought continental breakfast was.

Where's the housekeeper?

Location was good, only five minutes to the beach. The staff was friendly. My only issue was that I didn't get my room ... cleaned on two days until i tracked down a housekeeper late in the day and asked her to do it. I had no sign on the door declining service, but my room was never scheduled to be cleaned the entire stay.

The Hotel is at a very good location accessible to malls beaches and resturants,it has a pool which is good,the room was ... clean and spacious,the only negative was the plant that operates the air condition was close to the room i got and it is noisy so if ur a light sleeper you might want a room not close to 214.

Horrible.. upsolutely the worst

The hotel staff was nice. The room was quiet and peaceful. However, the bottom of the bathtub was black and looked very ... dirty. The carpet had all types of dark stains, and we saw a cockroach in the room while we were eating. We didn't spend that much time in the room but the time we spent there we were disgusted.

We traveled to Ft Lauderdale for a weekend away from home. We chose Ft Lauderdale because is close enough to Miami, but we ... hate Miami hotels. This hotel was great. The location was exactly what we needed and the price was very competitive. We did not plan this trip, so we were looking for a quick weekend place to stay. If you are looking for "the vacation" of the year this might not be the place, but it works perfectly for a quick trip. We drove, so I could not tell you how close it is from the airport. Parking lot was very spacious and "FREE", something that you don't get in Miami.The hotel looks brand new. Up to date furniture, rooms and bathrooms. The staff seemed very friendly, but we did not talk to them much. It is a very short drive to the beach and it is right were the action is in Ft Lauderdale. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel, but they do have a really nice breakfast room. The only problem is that a lot of condensation accumulated inside the room, it felt really humid. That gave the room a funky smell, but a guess we could've fixed that by playing with the AC controls. Anyway, very good location, very clean room, fairly new facilities. Compared to hotels of comparable price in the area, this hotel was paradise. But remember, it is not a resort.

Our visit was great. while we visiting the area we toured the everglades and the shopping district. The breakfast buffet ... could have offered a little more variety. some of the smaller hotels know even offer some hot breakfasts choices ie.The Hampton Inn and some Choice hotels. The rooms were nice could have a liitle more space but, overall it was still great next time with some additions I believe 5 stars will surley be the rating..

The two D's...Disappointed & Deceived

I was disappointed with the service of this hotel. I have never walked into a hotel room that was not prepared for its' ... guests. The entrance to the hotel looked like a back entrance for employees. Too many students hanging out in the front of the hotel. The lobby was filthy, the carpet in the room was dirty and smelly. The bathroom was not clean and it was noisy. After seeing the cleanliness on uncleanliness of this hotel, I definitely was not eating in there, I waited two hours for towels finally my husband had to go to the front desk to get our towels. I refused to stay in a hotel that was not clean so I checked out on Saturday. Please visit this establishment and take new pictures of the hotel the way it really looks. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone.

This place was right on Route 1, which can tend to be noisy given the amount of traffic. We stayed 3 nights and each night ... were awakened in the early morning hours due to the traffic. The location and the price were what sold us though. If we had been given a different room location, this probably would not have been an issue.

Hotel was average, but public transportation was needed to do any type of activities. Plenty of restaurants in walking ... distance, but nothing fancy. Not too crowded and pool was relaxing. Price was great and they were very flexible with check in and check out times.
