Kira-Mar Waterfront Villas

My Wife and I chose Kira-Mar for a post-cruise/anniversary hotel. We could have not been more pleased. Reggie and Nathalie were nothing short of amazing, the consumate hosts. Kira-Mar is close to the beach and Las Olas and the pool and grounds are beautiful. If your looking for a relaxing place that feels like home, you can't beat Kira-Mar. Thanks again Reggie And Nathalie, you made the difference!

The Kira-Mar offers a great location at an affordable price. We enjoyed the relax, yet attentive, atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms were well appointed and had all the amenities you would need. The hotel staff were wonderful hosts and available to assist with any requests. The grounds and rooms were very clean and well maintained. The location is convenient to shopping at Las Olas or the Ft Lauderdale beach. We would recommend the Kira-Mar and look forward to a return visit there.

This is a good place to stay for a reasonable price and I will probably stay there again. The rooms were very clean and the staff was excellant.

Kira-Mar is located a short distance from Las Olas, the main shopping district in Fort Lauderdale. Our room was clean and comfortably accommodated three individuals. They serve a basic, yet complete, breakfast from 9-11a, Monday - Saturday. They provide beach towels and a limited number of beach chairs too. It was really nice to return to the swimming pool after lunch and a day at the beach. I would definitely stay at Kira-Mar again!

We had stayed at one of the big Hotel chains right on the beach for the first 5 days of our trip to Fort Lauderdale and had booked the Kira-Mar for the last 2 days. Big mistake! We should have stayed at the Kira-Mar from the beginning. From the minute we walked onto the property the owners daughter and housekeeping were wonderful to us. The room was spotless with a separate bedroom, livingroom, dining area and kitchen. Everything you could want to make your stay comfortable was there. We had the pool to ourselves most of the day, instead of fighting for a chaise in the shade or paying 15 dollars for an umbrella..... they even included a continental breakfast with coffee, tea, juices, fruit, cereals and bagels.. nice touch. We were sorry to have missed the owners as they got rave reviews but their daughter was very warm and welcoming. If we ever go back to Fort Lauderdale we will be heading here first. We loved it!

off the main road so a car is needed but a great quiet clean place to stay. staff couldn't have been friendlier without being intrusive. convenient to everything if you have a car. place is clean, roomy and peaceful.

The Kira-Mar Waterfront Villas in Ft. Lauderdale were perfect for our two-night stay in the area. The villas, formerly a 12-unit '50's-era two story apartment complex, are tastefully appointed and decorated rooms with immaculately maintained grounds around the courtyard pool. The management staff were very courteous and helpful. The location is a long block off of Las Olas in a quiet neighborhood on a canal street, approximately half-way between the downtown shopping & entertainment district and the shoreline beach area, less than a mile in either direction. Free parking is available at the premise. The complimentary breakfast is modest; bagels, bread, spreads, fresh fruit, cereals, milk and juices. Our particular unit was a one-bedroom 'suite', complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, and a bedroom with a large walk-in closet. The king bed was one of the best I have ever slept on in a hotel setting. While being resort-like the Kira-Mar can in no way be confused with the much larger resort condominium hotels lining Ocean Blvd. This is a definite return-to and recommend-to place. [...] Not everyone will like this type of property but well worth giving serious consideration.

My husband and I had a great time here. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed - including a kitchenette, beach towels, and two chairs outside our door for sitting on the (shared) balcony. Awesome heated pool and beautiful location right on a canal. Parking for each unit is provided, and a basic continental breakfast is served each day except Sunday. I would recommend having a car or bicycle/scooter if you stay here so you can get around. It's a one mile walk to the beach, but an easy walk to the shops on Las Olas blvd. The place was soooo quiet and we were the only ones using the pool and awesome bbq area. The manager lit tiki lights and put on music for us while we bbq, which was nice. My only grip is the bed was small for two people and uncomfortable - the mattress was way too thin.

The location of the Kir-Mar Villas is perfect. It's between the Fort Lauderdale Beach and Riverfront Walk. You can have fun and excitement in any direction you decide to travel. The staff is great. They were warm and welcoming. Our room was equipped with a kitchen and dishes. They have an outdoor patio with a large gas grill. The pool is very clean and the water temperature is wonderful; day and night. The apartment style villa is ideal for the single person, couple or family that wants the feeling of home away from home.
