This is a great getaway hotel. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The mall and restaurants are ... within walking distance. If you want to stay active, you can work out at the fitness center or jog at the beach. The pool was great too! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

We changed room 3 times. first room was in the 7Th floor and there is not a sofa bed and the view was very bad.We only see ... the roof of the caferia at 6Th floor.Immediately we moved to 17 floor. This room had two queen beds and Better view but was not ocean front view.Next day as per hotel'S REQUEST we moved again to 16th floor with king bed and ocean view. This is a good hotel 4 stars but bell boy services is very delay. Nobody told us about parking fee. It is $29.95 overnight.

Jeff L Nov 4, 2009
We had a great stay at the hotel. The pool and other amenities are great and it's right across the street from a beautiful ... beach. The room was huge and had a great oceanview from the balcony. My only problem was that the valet parking was $30 per day. I have never been a fan of 'required' valet parking and I think that it should be optional for those that want the convenience. Otherwise free parking in their on-site deck should be included in the rates.

Get the Cabana!!
Tommy Oct 19, 2009
Great value all around. We had a shaky start with the room location. Be careful of which side you stay on the 6th Floor. ... We moved higher so we could see the ocean. Close to the little shopping area and a little further to the nightlife along the beach. Rooms are a little small unless you have a full on suite you're looking at the beach from an angle.
Traveler type: Family
Get one of the Cabanas. For about $100 you can have one all day by the pool. Included is a fruit plate and a muffin plate in the morning before 11 and one appetizer in the afternoon. We had the Ibiza so we got Calamari. There's a TV and fan in the Cabana but some of them do not work so that was kind of annoying but you're by the pool anyway so who cares??

The location was great. Had a few inconveniences: jacuzzi was not working, had to change room. Noted roach in bathroom. ... Stayed for three nights housekeeping did not add soap, Q-tips, shower caps, face towels, etc..beyond the first day. Food was delayed in restaurant although they made it up by comping one of the meals. Am a frequent traveler and have received better sevices in the past.

TOP OF THE LINE!
eighthwonder84 Oct 13, 2009
I barely had to leave the hotel. The amazing pool, spa, gift shop in the lobby, ATM, fitness center, and in room dining made ... it hard to leave to do any sightseeing. Just the same it made the trip simple and relaxing. The staff was available 24/7 for anything you might need, from a pair of jeans being washed that you just HAD to have that night or a late night snack. Not to mention while you're at the pool getting that amazing tan the staff is right there with fresh towels and pool side dining service! Yes, you had to pay for the internet in your room, but if you wanted a cup of coffee you could get free wi-fi in the coffee shop downstairs. I dont like having to valet for I go to my car often and sometimes stop by the hotel and want to leave a few minutes later, but they were accommodating and the WHOLE staff was nothing but friendly! I would DEFINITELY tell someone to stay here and I will DEFINITELY be returning!

Beautiful, clean hotel with great service & views of the ocean & pool. Visiting & playing outside at the beach across the ... street & at clubs/restaurants down the street that we were too busy to even checkout the spa & gym. Only negatives: 1.is that we needed to call guest services to get utensils/dishes for the suites kitchen. 2. The gift shop is closed. Great set-up otherwise. I'd go back at every opportunity.

This vacation was exactly what I was looking for--the beach and quiet. The hotel was nice and the staff was very ... accommodating. The isn't much for my age kids, 10 & 13, but they survived. I would definitely go back though. We had to walk for dinner as but that gave us something to do at night anyway.

NYCJIMBO Jul 24, 2009
Very Nice People....Quick Service....Decent views from basic rooms.....Nice to have the "French" bakery on the ground ... floor...But, we wanted to relax and we could not do that at the pool....They played this crummy Techno-Rave beat at high volume, only turning it down (with an argument) when we and several others complained....Mostly families and small kids here, we are not at South Beach! Turn the music up after 5pm if you want a party, WE want to RELAX!!!

The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Beach is beautiful. Great staff, great location, incredible room/suite. This hotel has condos. I ... assume they all didn't sell so they are used as rooms. Complete kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Walk in closet, hugh master bath with sunken tub with jets. Great ocean views. I loved it.
