Ft. Lauderdale Beach Palace Hotel & Suites

My spouse and I enjoyed the balcony view. The room was very clean. We didn't need two beds, but the hotel suggested a room according to how many people staying, it was only a couple. Having a refrigerator in the room was very accommodating. The television had clear reception. The hotel is situated across the street from a supermarket and cvs, which was also very accommodating.

The hotel was very comfortable based on the location. Banking, restaurant, nightlife and beaches were only minutes away. However, they need to put a little more attention on the towels service. Some of them did not look attractive in the sense that they were not cleaned properly. Other than this issue, I felt very relaxed and secured.

The main thing to understand about this hotel is that they are not as close to the beach as they sound. It is a number of blocks to find a public entrance through to the beach. Also I would not pay for an upgrade to an ocean view unless you can be satisfied with seeing a sliver of blue water through the many tall buildings that are truly on the water. This hotel is two streets away from the ocean. They do have a fun, active bar with music, good parking and a very nice staff.

Everyone was just so nice to me the people in the office to the cook Tim who made some food for me.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the young man did his best to accommodate our needs. Nice location if you like something a little more low key. We walked the 3 miles to the fun further south on the strip and the cab fare home was about $12. If you start a beach walk make sure you are ready, because there are no public exits for just under a mile if you are walking south. Overall, the water in bathroom was nice and hot, room was cool, and we slept well. I would probably stay there again for us two, but would prefer something a bit more family oriented if our daughter had been with us. Cvs is across the street as well as a Micky d's so that is also nice convenience.

we only stayed one night but the staff was very nice, and helpful. the rooms could use someupdating but they were clean.

great bar and service. i traveled a lot. great easy access to route a1a, oakland ave., route 1, 95. moments from downtown fort l and lauderdale by the sea. the mattress where at least a hundred years old. the room was nosey from street traffic. no battries in the tv remote. the view is great and the staff were very acomadating.o low water presure. hard time shaving.

first I could not find the name of the hotel in the yellow pages ,names of all hotel are very similar and confusing[...]rooms are not clean ,sliding doors are broken and wouldnot open ,TV remote control is not working ,shower is very primitive , shower towels are so thin . beds sheets,covering were not cleans . I paid $ 111 to spend uncomfertale night .
