Ft. Lauderdale Beach Palace Hotel & Suites

The room had roaches, was very uncomfortable to sleep.They really need to remodel the place. I would not recommend this place to any one. I was afraid to walk barefoot.

The room has roaches, was not very comfortable with sleeping in the beds, had to make sure I sprayed Lysol on the beds and the smell was not pleasent.....would not book there again.

i would not even take my socks off to walk barefoot on the floor...bathroom was clean enough and staff was friendly but getting to the room and the room it self was far from desireable. would certainly never go back there.

For the amount of money we paid, this hotel definitely wasnt up to par! The room we had initially, smelled like a gynocology office with dead rodents laying around. We had to switch rooms and the second wasnt much better. We ended up going to the local store and purchasing cleaning products with disinfectant and carpet freshner! This completely ruined the entire birthday weekend i planned for my wife. i felt bad that my wife had to sleep in those conditions. Then i attempted calling customer service and couldnt get through.

Very convenient location; and the staff is very accommodating.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the young man did his best to accommodate our needs. Nice location if you like something a little more low key. We walked the 3 miles to the fun further south on the strip and the cab fare home was about $12. If you start a beach walk make sure you are ready, because there are no public exits for just under a mile if you are walking south. Overall, the water in bathroom was nice and hot, room was cool, and we slept well. I would probably stay there again for us two, but would prefer something a bit more family oriented if our daughter had been with us. Cvs is across the street as well as a Micky d's so that is also nice convenience.

It was an overall interesting experience. Most hotels were booked in Miami so the only one available was this one and it was a bit pricey for the quality there was. The reviews are on the dot in regards to checking in there are mix ups. We actually didn't have a problem they were very sweet but the people before us had a problem. The rooms are in poor condition, lights dont work everything is dirty, and they said we had a poolside view of the street. Overall it was okay but dont expect great things.

Hotel pictures very misleading. Suite was very untidy, locks need repair, felt unsafe because could not secure one of the locks from connecting room, absolutely no hot water, bedding needs dire replacement (cigarette burns on comforter), suite overall in desperate need of repairs. Would not recommend to friends.

This is the worst hotel ever the rug was so nasty that my kids where on the floor for less then a few min and there feet where super black just from walking from the bath room to the beds there was no ice bucket and the free breakfast sucked it was one gl of milk cereal and powered doubts but most of all the room was nasty they have no phone in the room no remote the staff so stressed the experience was the worst ever I will never wast 105 dollers on dirty feet rug again.

Better suited for demolition than a family oriented hotel. We preferred to lose our money and find another hotel than to risk a night in this fraud of a hotel. Unfriendly check-in clerk clearly more interested in chain smoking than attending to the guests checking in. The final straw was the raging party going on in the hotel bar. If you are with family - run!!! If you are in a drunken stupor and have no place to go, find a cover under a bridge.
