Great space for the price
I arrived very late 11PM ish and the staff was very accomodating. The room was much larger than expected and I didn't use or need all the space for a one night stay. The only complaint.... the bed was very hard and I could have used more pillows

No room service until day 7
The staff was helpful. I was dissapointed in the room.It was supposed to be the stylish queen, but there was nothing stylish about it. It was simple but clean. The bed seemed rather small, yet the staff insisted that it was a queen size. It felt more like a full. Room services only takes place on a daily basis by request and extra fees are added. The room was tidy and I liked the location. I won't stay here on another business trip. It is a great place to stay if you are there for shopping and want to save money on transportation and dining. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had a good night sleep.

While the room had been cleaned, it hadn't been cleaned especially thoroughly: for example, if whoever cleaned it had merely CLOSED the bathroom door to vacuum the part of the bedroom carpet behind it, they'd have spotted the paper trash of some kind left there by a previous guest; also, the toilet still had in it (what I hope was just) cigarette ash. Additionally, one of the chairs in the room had a huge cigarette hole on the seat, and behind that chair it looked like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in years -- layers of dust, which I was made aware of when I moved the chair a little so as to see the TV better. Finally, though there was a small outdoor pool, using it wasn't all that pleasurable -- it wasn't heated (and yes, it can get cold ((relatively speaking, of course)) in Florida in the winter months) and on a couple of days the water was really too cold to swim in comfortably; it wasn't regularly cleaned, as evidenced by the leaves and other things floating in it; and, worst of all, apparently due to the fertilizer used on the plants immediately bordering the pool (which, along with a railing, were all that separated the pool from the cars in the parking lot on both sides), there was a horrible stench of, ahem, manure surrounding it, especially on my first day of arrival (either it wore off slightly as the week went on, or I got somewhat used to it), when it was so bad I swam one "lap" (it's a tiny pool) and fled because I couldn't stand the stench anymore. The biggest positive was that the rates were much better than those of surrounding hotels. Also, I found upon inquiring that guests could use the Bally's Total Fitness located about a five minute drive away.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Although there are the usual "casual dining" suspects in the area -- Chili's, Applebee's, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Macaroni Grill, etc. -- I would urge you instead to investigate the many strip malls on the main big streets -- University, Sunrise, etc. -- where there are countless SURPRISINGLY GOOD ethnic (Indian, Thai, Chinese are among the ones I've tried) restaurants; I've been visiting this area roughly twice a year for many years now (though this is the first time I stayed at this hotel), and have sampled many of these places, based purely on how they looked from outside (including noting the menus -- one of the Chinese places had a fully Chinese menu in addition to the English one, usually a good sign -- and the clientele -- lots of Chinese eating in the Chinese place, Indians eating in the Indian places, etc.), and I've yet to be disappointed. They're also competitive pricewise with those "casual dining" chains.

Possibly one of the worst
I travel constantly and as a rule ESA is a good bet. I always ask for a non smoking room. The stale cigarette smoke in this Hotel hit you in the face as you come in the door. I went to my room thinking that in the room, I would escape the stale smell. Not my luck. After calling the front desk, I was told that my room indeed was a non smoking room, however each room on either side was a smoking room. I asked for my money back as I would find another place, and was told that they could not refund my money. I tried to get some sleep, however I came down with the worst headache from the cigarette smoke. However, I approve the expense reports for 78 salesmen, and they will be notified in a memo that if they turn in an expense report from this day forward with Extended Day Studio on it, then there expense will not be reimbursed to them.

Nice economy hotel-very pet friendly
Room was clean and fresh (especially for a pet friendly hotel!). Nice places to walk dogs with thoughtful waste disposal adjacent. Economy class linens and bath, but clean. Friendly staff. Close to highway, but tucked away in quiet location.
