great location for what we needed.

we thought the room rental was i believe $90 or so but we were billed $142. no itemization ever given. a bit of a disappointment. we did not know they charged for parking which would have been good to know. overall it was a nice hotel and the staff were very friendly. bathroom water ran 24/7 but closing the bath door kept the room quite enough. location of 4 blocks from cruise terminal and close enough to all kinds of shopping was perfect for us.

A big mistake !!!

Our stay was plaqued with issues. Smoke scented room and a staff who said there was nothing they could do about it. Cigarette butts on balcony. Dirty dishes and silverware in waterway in Atrium and staff said would look into it, was worse buy end of stay. Breakfast was average. Charging $9.95 per day for internet access is a rip-off. Went and had lunch at Panera Bread across street and used free wi-fi there and cost less to eat too. The only good that we found was their valet service for parking was excellent. Very dissatisfied and so unlike many Embassy Suites elsewhere.

love, love, love

This was my second time staying there and it was fantastic both times. The room was super comfortable and so clean that I didn't mind letting my one-year-old play on the floor, which is usually not something I'd consider in a hotel room. The pool was wonderful, the breakfast was magnificent, the location was extremely convenient, and every staff member I encountered was both professional and friendly - I mean, how often does that happen?! I was extremely impressed. The only issue I had was that there are apparently only a handful of luggage carts and we were not able to get our hands on one either coming or going, and since traveling with a small child necessitates lugging extra items along on trips, that was a bit of an inconvenience. But overall, we had an excellent and very satisfying experience and would absolutely stay there again and again!

Gilbert's 17th Street Grill, in the shopping center behind the hotel - LOVED IT. actually ate there more than once during our several-day stay because it was so good the first time.

Perfect Hotel before cruise!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night before going on a cruise. The hotel offered a cooked-to-order breakfast, along with the regular continental breakfast. It was a beautiful hotel, both inside, and outside by the pools. Clean, nice hotel. I would stay there again.

Good stay but.......

Let me say the hotel is nice and they did respond to some of my concerns quickly. Staff was friendly however there was a teen language group staying maybe 20 kids or so, the teen were crank calling our room from 12:30am to 3am!! and running through the hallways every night!! I did complain to the staff and they are giving us a free night stay so that was very nice. We ordered room service (ice cream for my daughter) they were out of ice cream for the 4 days we stayed there and the restaurant did not offer anything for that. Other than that the room was nice, but the balcony was not cleaned at all when we arrived! and the pool area was dirty in the late mornings. I will stay here again because of the staff they were very helpful.

Great stop for cruisers!

We stayed here the night before our cruise. The accommodations were perfect for the four of us. We arrived late, but the hotel staff were able to direct us to a great place to eat within walking distance, and breakfast the next morning was very good. The concierge was very helpful, and the shuttle to the dock was really convenient. Only complaint was the popularity of this place - made for a long line for breakfast!
