Fantastic Location
The hotel is located close to a lot of restaurants and it is in front of the beach. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I f you want to go to Las Olas Boulevard for dinner, it takes less than 10 minutes to get there by car or taxi.

Weekend getaway
It was awesome. Hotel was right in the middle of everything. Lady at the events desk was very informative and helpful. She made arrangements for us to go snorkeling and jet skiing. We had a late check out and they were very accommodating. Room was always clean and housekeeping always came up to the room in the evening to find out if we had sufficient towels.

great vacation experience
the hotel is directly accross the street from the beach and a very clean and open area of the beach. They have a roof top pool for pool lovers and a nice little bar area. there breakfeast buffet was a great deal and everything else about the hotel was well run. This was a very clean and comfortable place to stay and simple not flashy and vegas style. perfect for either a family stay or for business. I never rate anyplace perfect, but this was excellent.

College Sweethearts
My bf and I don't have a lot of time or money to get away because we are both in school and ft. lauderdale was the perfect getaway for us. We took a stab in the dark at a hotel because we had never been to the area before, but the marriot was such a great choice! It was right on the beach and a short walking distance for anything you could possibly want: restraunts, bars, shopping, etc. Also we went on an airboat tour to the everglades which picked us up right at the door and a snorkle boat trip which was only a 10min walk away. The best part was the price, you can't beat the value of this place. Only complaint was that we did not get the original room we booked on orbitz (king size room with couch). This may be because we opted for early check-in and just took what was available at the time.

Spiaggia Restaurant was an awesome spot for a late dinner. Menu is highlighted by food-wired pizza. Best part was the atmosphere and the entertainment. A single guitar player with a flamenco/belly dancer kept everything lively!

If you love the beach and a reasonable price, stay at this hotel. Our view on the 10th floor overlooking the intercoastal waterway was spectacular! The staff was pleasant, helpful and aimed to please. We needed extra towels, and they were at our door in minutes. The proximity to the beach is amazing and a true plus for beach lovers...just steps across the street! We will return! Great trip!

It was a nice time
The hotel was right on the water and you could walk to anyhting you needed.I am going back in Sept.The one down fall they dont tell you till you get there is $30 a day to park your car there and when i was there only on Elevator was work so it took for ever to get back to your room but eveything else was great..The staff where such nice poeple there..

Unbeatable location for the price
Great Place hotel was very clean nice service ppl were friendly right across was the beach lots of places to eat just around the corner good location for the price. we had booked tours from the hotel to visit key west and Everglades everything worked perfect and on time price was not to bad either compare to other places. been to Florida numerous times fort lauderdale was far better would go back there again and stay in the same hotel all so

Not up to Courtyard standards
Across the street from the beach. The beach did not allow alcohol. The lobby was super crowded at checkin. We had to wait for our room to get ready and then it took 15 min to get an elevator because one was down and there was a long line. The room was clean, bed was hard.

only one elevator worked the entire time no towels in room when we got there parking was an extra $30/day late checkout was not available breakfasts were good but pricey service from valets and waitstaff was good would probably not use this hotel again though
