Avalon Waterfront Inns

Waterfront is an older hotel consisting of multiple buildings to accomdate different vactioning needs. I have stayed in a larger room with two beds and a kitchenette in the back building on my first stay and a standard room in the main building on my most recent stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well maintained, and spacious. The staff was cooperative and friendly during both occasions. The only issue I had with either stay was the late check in time of 3 p.m. Wish I could have checked in earlier to unpack and settle. Yet, lounging by the pool, sitting on the veranda enjoying the breeze, swimming in the ocean, or walking up and down A1A to enjoy the shops and resturants passes the time quickly.

We were not sure what to expect but since we prefer a smaller place, not a high rise we were ok with the outward appearance of the place. Our first room given was not acceptable but they upgraded us and our room was spacious and comfy. For the price, sleep there and enjoy the beach!!!

This was our second time staying here. Came down to see the surrounding sites. Made a day trip to Key West and visited other beaches close by.(Del Ray down to North Miami) This hotel was in a great location next to the beach and had a great atmosphere.(had personality) Reminds me of Hotels I stayed in when traveling through Europe years ago.

The Waterfront Beach Inn Resort has a great location. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was average, but smelled like mildew when I entered it. There was space for hanging my clothes, but no hangers. Small fridge in the room, no freezer for ice to keep. No tub in bath just shower. The resort consists of seperate buildings. I was traveling alone, and was in the back building away from most others. At times this made me feel uncomfortable, security wise. During my stay there was construction going on in the street opposite the pool I was to use with many workmen. This also made me feel uncomfortable since I liked to use the pool several times a day. The second day I was there I let the front desk know the toilet was running, there was not holder for the toilet tissue, two of the lamps in the room had missing switches to turn them on, the batteries were missing from the remote for the tv. They did come and fix them promptly. If I was to use the fitness center it would of been in site of the construction workers so I chose not to.

SMALL HOTEL IN THE NICE AREA WORTH FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY. BASIC BREAKFAST. ROOM SEEMED TO BE CLEAN BUT SHEETS WERE DIRTY. LADY AT THE CHECK IN VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL (MORNING SHIFT ONLY)

The Waterfront Inn was very relaxing with out the stress, you come and go as you please. Staff didn't bother you but were there if you needed them. Right by the beach. Really enjoyed the full kitchen area and the dining area of the suite.

Ok, so the hotel is nice but the location is awesome! I stayed at the sister hotel the night before and then transfrred to this one to stay with my friends for a reunion. The beach is right across the street. The rooms need a little updating but you can't beat the price. We went to a couple of bars around the area at night, which you can walk to...The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. I liked the casual feel. I would go back...

FRONT DESK WAS VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS CLEAN AND BUG FREE. THE AIR CONDITIONERS WORKED WELL. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING TO SAY ABOUT THE HOTEL IS THAT THE WEB PAGE IS A LITTLE MISLEADING. THIS HOTEL IS MADE FOR A VACATION THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE ANY OF THE SOFT AMENETIES THAT, SAY, A HILTON or HOLIDAY INN MIGHT HAVE. IT GIVES YOU A CLEAN BED, TVs, COUCH (in the suite), KITCHEN, FRIG, DISHES, etc. THE BAR WAS FUNNY, BUT NICE. POOLS WERE NICE AS WELL. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN, BUT NOT ON A BUSINESS TRIP IF I HAVE PICKY CLIENT/ASSOCIATES THAT LIKE HILTON-STYLE HOTELS. GREAT FOR FAMILY.

place needs a total refurbishment more than two in a room and you would be falling over one another cannot recommend at this time
