Avalon Waterfront Inns

the maintances is the wost I seeing in a Hotel the service was bad and the furnature was real bad I thing is over prices the hotel. the only good thing was the location.

The Avalon was a great place to spend my spring break. The location was perfect and price was just right. The room was special, nothing too fancy, and perfect for the amount of time we spent in it. If you are looking for a nice five-star hotel, this is not the one. If you are trying to get away with some beach, sun and fun on a tight budget, this will do the trick. God bless the Avalon.

Considering the price and location of this motel, it seems foolish to complain about the property's deficiencies. After we made a special request to get our room vacuumed, the accommodations were tolerable. In all fairness, the front desk staff are wonderful, friendly, and really efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone with a tight budget who must absolutely stay directly on the beach.

Dirty towels, staff not in a hurry to help you with anything, was in fear of what i'd catch from the sheets. If you're not fussy (at all) and need a place to crash, this would be ok. But if you want a little luxury, do not stay here. Also, the pictures are deceptive. Sorry to complain, but I wasn't impressed.

Absolutely not what I expected. The front desk is very slow and rude. Rooms are dirty, stuffy and disfunctional. Like others had noticed the windows are dirty and can't be opened. The smell is awefull. There are holes in the walls, old RCA TVs, dirty showers. Pools are dirty. Parking is extra though not bad. Location is the only good thing.

horrible. the pictures they show to you as examples is not what it really looks like, The showers are broken in the rooms, my room had a hole in the wall. I stayed for 2 nights and i didnt shower because it didnt work. The only good thing they have is they are across the street from the beach. The front office is small and they is where you eat. and there complimentry breakfast is coffee and small mini bagels every morning. do not recommend!

We arrived at the hotel fully confident that the hotel would be very nice. The Avalon Waterfront Hotel was very dirty, the windows would not open and the kitchenette was clearly not functional.The small fridge was barely cold and there was only a old dirty hot plate to "cook" on, no dishes or glasses, no forks or knifes, Furthermore, when you opened the cabinet up there was a state of florida certificate that advised the occupant that it was in fact unsanitary to eat, and or consume food safely. The linens appeared soiled. I took pictures of the room . We checked out within an hour. It simply was unsanitary.

The hotel doesn't look exactly like it did online, but for the most part it looked pretty good. It's just an old building. We didn't stay in the "main" part we stayed in a seperate building located behind the hotel. A little weird but whatever, we got the room so so cheap that we didn't care. I would book there again.

The staff was very accomodating. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, not the Ritz but nice enough that I would definately go back.

Office staff were extremely courteous and sensitive to my needs. There was a problem with the phone in my room and I was immediately moved another room. Amenities were okay, while there was no iron in my room, I called front desk and immediately one came up. The location is excellent, lovely pool and lots of channels to watch if you decide to stay in. Internet connection was extremely fast. Overall, for the price this is an excellent choice.
