The clerk was nice and there was a "continental" breakfast available, but otherwise this place was pretty dumpy, like an old, used apartment that you take only when you're a starving college student. Peeling paint, rusty, spiders, etc.

No shuttle to or from airport, but it is very close by FLL. This place is TINY -- only 20 or so rooms; but staff is nice, very informal, and willing to accomodate. Rooms are also small, and bathrooms are very small with only the basics, but room was clean, brightly painted in cheerful colors, and confortable for a one night stay. Had to take a taxi to the airport (surly driver who wouldn't help with my bags) so that's a negative, but cheaper hotels in this area, even if they have a shuttle often run full, infrequently or for limited times (eg. 6am to 10 pm). Neighborhood is a bit off the beaten path, and I wouldn't go strolling, but it suited me fine for an overnight stay. Rooms have keycards, microwave, minifridge and cofeemaker. The coffee was the good kind, not typical motel fare, so I really appreciated that. There was free WiFii (in the rooms,not just the lobby). That's a lot for a little money. (At least I think so). Didn't stay for complimentary "breakfast" -- so have no idea what's offered, but wouldn' expect too much for the price. Wouldn't honeymoon here, but wouldn't mind recommending it to my "non-fussy" friends. Just remember, it's a "clean well-lighted place" to spend the night, not a lifestyle choice.

It was hard to find. Not in a good section of town. Only identification of location was a small sandwich sign outside and a small sign in the window that identified the "motel." It looked so bad from the outside we didn't want to even go in. But we did. It is nothing more than a cheap rate motel. Our friend's room had stained sheets and peeling paint in the bathtub-paint that is used to give the tub a new finish. This had all come off. YUCK. Our room looked clean but the bathroom had a very small shower stall and it was an old bathroom very much in need of updating.

We had a reservation for a non-smoking room, advised the motel that we would be arriving late, but when we got there, they did not have a non-smoking room available. We chose this location because of its proximity to the airport. They sent us to a different location of the same chain, about 5-6 miles away.

I was first bitten by a sand fly as soon as i entered the bathroom to shower. Then as I preceded to bed there were several spiders who were already resting on the pillows. The closet was raunchy and mildewed with a dirty towel spread on a floor that needed repairing. Then I woke up in the middle of the night with a bed guest on my leg and it wasn't my husband. A large coach roach needed a nice place to stay as well. The room appeared neat and clean, but the uninvited guests were a bit much. I have never stayed in a hotel of this standard but my husband thought we shoud spend our money on something other than a room. Signed: UnHappy2!

The staff was very friendly and heipful and made me feel comfortable.

The photos do not provide an accurate description of the hotel. The staff was friendly and graciously provided refund when the complaint about the roaches was made. We stayed at the Crown Plaza less than 1 mile away for only $30 more a night. Exponential upgrade in lodging for my family this night.

We booked this hotel for our evening prior to leaving on our cruise. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and also gave great recommendations for a place to eat. The rooms were clean and simple. Due to time, we were unable to utilize the pool. In the morning, staff made us drinks while we waited for our shuttle to the pier. Location near airport was perfect - a short and inexpensive cab ride. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you plan on cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale and are looking for something clean, friendly, convenient, simple, and (sometimes most importantly) affordable.

They welcome you in with cold beverages, the rooms are adequate for short stays. It is extremely close to airport. Beds were comfortable. The carpet could be replaced. We liked are first night, we booked again, for 10 nights later, when we needed to use the airport again.
