Everglades and Key Biscayne

Very convenient location to national parks.. Easy check-in/out. Stayed one night. Room functioned well. King size bed comfortable. Room well-muffled from road and restaurant noise across the street. Had a complimentary eggs and sausage breakfast. Bathroom a bit tight.

Close to two unique national parks. Also be sure to stop at "Robert Is Here" fruit stand for a smoothie or other purchase!

ramada

The staff was very friendly. I traveled alone, but felt very safe and valued. The breakfast was more than adequate and the bed was comfortable. This is a great stop-over place on the way to the Keys.

Stop for gas and snacks at the circle K just prior to entering the Keys. If it's your first trip to the Keys, take Rt 1 down; otherwise, take the toll on Card Sound.

One Night

Stay here was just for one night. Wanted a hotel close to the Everglades National Park. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Resturant across the street may look like fun, but it is way over priced and not very good. Save your money and eat at McDonalds.

Buggin Out at the Ramada

The staff were very friendly but that is the only positve at this hotel. Once arriving, we noticed a strong foul smell combined with heavy deordorizer to cover it. The bathroom had hand prints & smears all over the door and toliet lid. We requested a roll away bed (which was promptly brought) but it had a stains all over the pillow case and sheets...almost looked like makeup or paint. That night, we were surprised by uninvited guest...we had a room full of ants. My son went to use the iron but it was covered with melted plastic. The breakfast was awful...eggs were dry and hard, juices were hot, the muffins had dried out, etc. We checked at some other motels in there area but there were no vacancies so we had to deal for two nights.

the location was awesome

the keys were disappointing but beautiful scenery. there were no sandy beaches but alot of parks to enjoy.next visit will be a little north of miami as there are many sandy beaches. enjoyed the everglades airboat & alligater park & the island queen cruise from miami. the biscayne national park was also great. the weather was excellent & would come back again.

in need of repair

went for a couple of nights of everglades bass fishing. the rooms were musky and carpet dirty. upon outside inspection. there is a large amount of decay in the structural integrity of the building. really needs some TLC inside and out. small bathrooms, room door was warped and had gaps almost 1\2 inch where light and wind came in. Probabl;y book another location. definately not impressed.

nice room, BUT...

Room was ok- big tv, nice bed w/good linens, comforters & lots of pillows. BUT!!!-- my room infested w/ BEDBUGS! I was aware that this could be a problem but i was surprised to find them at this place which was medium priced and i chose specifically in hopes of avoiding this kind of problem.

Florida City is the closest town to the Everglades and last town before reaching the Keys
