Loved it so much, booked second night !!
After my first night, I had to go to the Keys, where I thought to book a room. But that one was so cool and cheap, I booked it for another night and did the trip during the day. And for the price, you have free internet, microwaves oven and a fridge. The room is big and very clean.

No luxury, good place to stay for cheap
Small, old, but clean and a good value for the money, especially in Florida in the spring. We spent most of our time in the Everglades, so only slept there. Small refrigerator and microwave were convenient. Bed good, AC kept it comfortable on hot days. Old sink and outmoded decor, but who cares?

Just a few miles from Everglades National Park, and close to a variety of eating establishments,and gas stations.

Unbeatable location for the price
This was a good stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Their was all amenities except shampoo and conditioner for showering. The coffee, microwave, and fridge are good to have. The cable and wireless internet also came in handy. Thanks!

WONDERFUL room at an UNBEATABLE price.
We only stayed one night here between Miami and the Florida Keys. Great location, about 25 minutes from the airport located right on US 1. Check in was swift and easy. This room was extremely clean and surpassed my expectations. Safe area. Microwave and fridge in the room. Excellent value, I couldn't believe it was so affordable after we actually saw the room. Please consider staying at this hotel.

Clean, friendly, free parking and great
Whilst we were here we went to Miami and the Florida Keys. We had a great time and enjoyed coming home to a hotel which was clean and spacious. We liked this hotel so much we re-booked and came back a couple of days later.

Great Deal!
We were nervous to book such an inexpensive hotel. It's hard to know what to expect from the array of reviews. We found this place to be a great deal with very helpful and polite staff. It was easy enough to find and check-in was simple. The room was clean (no qualms about sleeping under the sheets or walking around barefoot) and the air conditioning was quiet and fully functional. The TV wasn't working when we first got there (and we initially had some issues with the key card) but the owner/worker was quick to help and was very apologetic. It appeared that there was a section of the hotel that was filled with longer term tenants as they do offer weekly and monthly rates as well. But, I never felt the least bit unsafe. The pool is small and in a strange location (surrounded by the parking lot) but was a great place to take a quick dip and get a little sun. We would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to many. The continental breakfast was pretty lame but I can let that slide. Don't expect a meal by any stretch though. I think that those that rated this place poorly have never stayed at similarly priced places in the U.S.

Casavana, in Homestead offers huge meals that filled our bellies for two days for only $20 (for two meals). My $10 meal consisted of two full plates of food and a bowl of delicious beans as well as a big appetizer of cuban bread and a soda. I had never laughed at the sheer quantity of food brought to me until I ate here. The whole thing was very tasty as well.

Overall, my expectations were met
Our one nite stay was alright. The staff was friendly and the room was ok, except the bath which was a bit unclean.
