great service in good location
this place is a little off the main hotspot of destin, but the beach is within walking distance and the restaurants surrounding are great. quiet beaches with snow white sand and aquamarine water...beautiful. Hotel is friendly and helpful. would stay here again.

Family getaway
The hotel staff were nice, friendly and helpful however my overall experience was average. Breakfast selection was not good or cooked properly. I preferred a better selection than provided. Location was great for shopping or access to the beach which was a few blocks away. Free WiFi and computer access for printing...

Perfect getaway
We had the greatest time! The location was good, we just walked the two blocks to the beach. The weather was excellent ( besides being burned ) The only thing we didn't enjoy was the check-in, we got there early and couldn't check in yet until after lunch and walking around the destin commans. The second day there our cards to the room stopped working so we had to get new ones. But like I said besides that it was a excellent hotel. It was clean and the people were nice. If you don't mind walking. I recommend this hotel

"Fantastic family getaway"
We did a lot of shopping at different stores in Destin Commons, ate at different Restaurants & went to the nearby beach. Also, went to Panama City which is an hour drive away to see Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum & more shopping. There was no wifi in the rooms - only in the Lobby.

unbeatable getaway at a reasonable price
The staff was nice an professional, rooms were clean an cosey, light breakfast in the mornings, a hop skip an jump from the beautiful beach,an shopping mall. Love this place!!!!!!!!!!! I give it two thumbs-up.

Nice hotel!
Great location. Very convenient. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was quite good. The only negative is the hotel internet connection. It is sooo slow. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

The Crab Trap is very close to the hotel (around 1 mile). They have 29 cent gumbo available with each entree purchase, and the restaurant is right on the beach! Food is good and nice service. The kid's meal even comes with a bucket and shovel for the kids to keep. Great place to go for both lunch and dinner.

Good for the price
Got a good deal for the night at the holiday inn express. For the price of the hotel, it was a great stay. Its two blocks from the beach, but you can drive and park at the pubic parking area at the end of the road. Near great restaurants and the factory outlets. We slept well and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning. The room was clean, but it wasn't the Ritz, but I also didn't pay the Ritz price. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not real great
The room that we thought we had reserved was not, misleading, the front desk staff just said sorry but this is the room you reserved, "no it wasn't!" called and asked for toothpaste, they didn't have any but the plaque in the bathroom said they would...paid way to much in my opinion for a hotel that claimed to have it all and got nothing we asked for.
