Beachfront Destin hotel with pools near Panama City
Holiday Inn Destin on the Beach guests are welcomed by a huge indoor atrium with cheerful greenery and seating. The large, round pool is encircled by lounge chairs and the heated, indoor pool has an open seating area. There is a grassy recreation area between the hotel and the beach, with a small wood deck with lounge chairs overlooking the water. From the hotel, the green Gulf waters and white sand stretches beyond where the eye can see. The distinctive round tower design of the hotel allows for panoramic views in all directions from its guest rooms.Hotel Map

Awesome Experience
Had My wedding there on the beach of Destin on 11-11-11. The whole experience was awesome. The Front desk staff and morning breakfast serving Staff. Manager Kathy was Awesome. Rented the Second sand bar on the top floor for the reception. Awesome view of the beach and water. Kathy took care of Everything. Low stress on your wedding day ++++. Great hotel and bunch of stuff to do, (even spots for kids to play, indoor pool and hot tub for us). ++++

Perfect for Destination Wedding
The Holiday Inn in Destin was the perfect spot for my daughter's destination wedding. The hotel was beautiful, rooms very comfortable and clean, hospitality room perfect place for reception and the view was spectacular! ALL of the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were huge and deliciious. And being right on the coast for the wedding was perfect. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to family and friends!

Great deal!
Great price for beach front. Refrigerator & microwave in room. Free popcorn & ice cream in afternoons. Centrally located. Seems to be a lot of activities for children, but not overrun with kids. Bartenders with great advice on restaurants.

Holiday Inn on the beach
Great place we had a view of the water while not being on the water. Great for kids if you have them. Our room had bunk beds for the kids and their own TV and play station and even bean bags and a table and chairs. Wish the room had full curtains instead of half way see through. Be it hard for someone to see in, it was still possible. The free movies, pop corn and ice cream great ideas. Free WiFi as well. Lots to do for the kids and adults. Price could have been a little bit more reasonable for the time of year but overall great stay.

Holiday Inn on the Beach vs. Hurricane Lee
Four days of Hurricane Lee's extremely high winds, wiping sands, drenching rain, and lessons on turning lemons into lemonade was our journey in Destin, FL. of the holiday weekend. The sugar in our lemonade was the never-a-lack-of-things-to-do atmosphere created by the fabulous staff at the Holiday Inn on the Beach. We always were able to raise above the occasion at the Holiday Inn and have a good time. We were also very impressed by the culturally diverse guests the Holiday Inn were hosting. We know they didn't plan that aspect, however, it is a testament to their reputation. Cheers to one and all!

Great family stay
Great family atmosphere. Kids loved the free ice cream and pop corn in the afternoon. Walked the beach to a favorite dining spot - The Back Porch. Recommended for family trips. Probably not that great for a romantic getaway though...

White sandy beaches
Since they have children eat free and children entertainment, the room price is very reasonable. Stayed in the tower with a partial view of the beach. The tower is round so your room is pie shaped. This makes the bathrooms very small compared to their other rooms. Beaches were spectacular. Close to everything in Destin.
