Awesome hotel!!
We had another great stay at this Hampton Inn. The location is central to all things we wanted to do while there. Love the Back Porch Restaurant that's within walking distance. Top top it off, we had an early flight in the morning, so at checkout, they gave us togo bags of breakfast items. Nice touch!! I will come back again and again.

Perfect location, right in the heart of Destin. We could walk to a really great restaurant....The Back Porch Oyster Bar...and to the beach. Continental breakfast was convenient. The room was clean, but nothing fancy. An added bonus was a fridge in the room for drinks. The staff was awesome!!

a good value
This hotel is across the street from the beach. You cannot see the beach because of the condo's on the beach. However, it is a short walk across the street to the beach. The back porch cafe is across the street and is right on the beach. Order the smoked tuna dip, it's awsome. The hotel staff was nice and helpfull. The elevator was not working right and the hot tub had ice old water shooting out of the jets. Also there were no towels available at the pool. When we inquired about it at the front desk the man on duty was less than helpfull. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff was friendly and eager to get whatever we needed. The breakfast was good, fresh waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, juice etc... Convenient location.

Short drive from hotel
Take a dolphin cruise it is worth every penny. Make sure it is the last one of the day so you see the sunset and it lasts a little longer. The trigger fish po-boy sandwich at fudpuckers was awsome. Tip, do not waste your money feeding the alligators, they do not eat the food. The crab shack ( a little hole in the wall place) has steamed dungeness crab cooked w/ old bay spice. The best I have ever had.

Wonderful Trip!
The hotel was very enjoyable. We planned a last minute trip to the beach and this hotel was available. The service and the people were A+. The rooms were clean, and the walk to the beach was short and enjoyable. We would definitely go back there again!

Most of it was good
The hotel was good overall, the only inconvenience was the size of the room and the restroom; too small even for only two people. Staff and breakfast were good. It was two minutes away from the beach which was very convenient.

Great stay and location
Great location and a short walk to the beach (about 300 yards on a nice sidewalk). It is not beach front but is good stay for the price. Would recommend and will stay again.

Great location
Room was what I expected from Hampton Inn. As always they have a nice staff, and breakfast. I was disappointed with the old TV and the room had a strange smell, we figured it came from being so close to the beach. The bed was comfortable. The property and room were clean and well kept.

great location
Visiting the area for a family wedding. Loved the location, close to everything. Teenagers had a great time with the pool and short walk to the beach. The Back Parch had a great oyster early bird. The breakfasts at the hotel was good, and the staff very friendly! We would stay here again!

Incredible!
This hotel was very nice! It was clean, the staff members were extremely friendly, and it had an awesome breakfast available each morning. In addition, it was within walking distance of a beautiful beach, and of a delicious restaurant called Back Porch. When I say within walking distance, I pretty much mean a short walk across the street. It was great! We will definitely be staying there again!
