Home-like Destin suites near beach and downtown
The Candlewood Suites Destin has everything guests need for a comfortable, extended stay, including spacious suites with full kitchens, a roomy pool, a business center that never closes and a 24-hour fitness center. Good
The room was small, but had everything we wanted in it. The beds were clean and nicely made when we arrived. No one came to clean the bathrooms or vacuum, so midweek we asked the person at the front desk if someone could do that. They informed us that the cleaning people would be in in the morning and that they would do that then, but they never did. theres a cute shop with food and drinks in the lobby area, it was very convenient. We had to bring our soiled towels downstairs to get new ones which felt awkward and inconvenient. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained.

awesome stay!
One of the best suites we've stayed in! The hotel is immaculate and very new - although it does have that sawdust feel/look to the woodwork, it has a granite countertop / vanities. There are two LCD TVs in the king suite and the room was very spacious for our toddler to run around in. The FREE laundry service was another notch in the belt for their wonderful amenities. Now if only they had free breakfast.. :) Perhaps the only downside is the location - it is located on the very busy/congested US-98 and is a few miles away from the beach access. You can't beat the price of the hotel though!

The room was large and had everything I needed to get work done yet feel like I have all the amenities of my own home - including a full size fridge. The small store inside the hotel was well stocked and the prices were, in fact, comparable to grocery stores in the area I enjoyed it. I'd come back.

The hotel does not list the very inexpensive eateries just down the block. Don't walk. You're on a freeway. Drive. Safer.

Lovely and spacious!
Love the room and the hotel overall....kinda easy to pass because its decked off and the sign isnt too bright but everything else was great! Am staying here again n the near future!

Destin Lover
Very nice hotel
I have spent three days at this hotel with my daughter on her Spring Break. The hotel is located in the most convenient place - close to the beach, shopping, many restaurants. Super market is not far away either which is great considering that there is a fully equipped kitchen in the hotel suite. We hardly had to eat out - bought our food at Publix and made our breakfasts and quick dinners at the hotel. I highly recommend this place!

Candlewood is close to everything good
we loved the room it had a kitchen with dishes and pots and pans everything we neede to make a nice dinner. and its close to the silver sands mall. excellent hotel

Good Little Getaway
I feel the housekeeping arrangements can use improvement. I do not want to go to hotel and have to make up my own bed or take out the trash.

overall a good place to stay
Very friendly staff; great to have a small kitchen to prepare food; free access to Gold's Gym was a nice plus; be aware - pets are allowed, which means hearing an occasional bark

"Loved the motel and the stay"
The hotel was clean, quite and just wonderful. I was very surprised and extremely happy when we arrived to find a very clean and happy place to stay. Our stay was great. The employee's were all wonderful, caring and eager to please. I will return to this hotel for sure if we return to Destin, FL.
