Kids are the stars at family friendly oceanfront Daytona Beach resort
It's a good thing Wyndham Ocean Walk's condominium-style suites are suitable for extended stays. Getting the kids to leave won't be easy. In addition to the World's Most Famous Beach, the resort features a Kids Program and an elaborate pool complex with a lazy river. All rooms come with fully equipped kitchens, and the resort is adjacent to the Ocean Walk Shoppes, a modern beachfront entertainment and dining complex. Guests can zip to the Daytona Speedway in minutes. Plan a day trip to Kennedy Space Center, Disney theme parks and Universal Studios.

Pretty Good
Overall the room was very nice and the location was great. it is a time-share resort, but they weren't pushy about trying to sell us like some I've been to. It has a nice pool area but it was crowded. The ocean walk shopping center is right next door with lots of restaurants.

Sand Soccer weekend
Very nice experience. Nice room, completely equipt with everything we needed to make all our meals. Loved having washer and dryer! So much to do. 12 and 14 year old boys never even set the Xbox up. Convienant location to pier, and all that Ocean Walk offers. Grab a chair by the pool early. They do fill up. Will definitely return next year.

Nice place to stay
The rooms are big with a nice kitchen area, clean rooms with nice furnishings. I recommend upgrading to the ocean view if you can.

First Ever Vacation Seeing Ocean and Flying!!!!
My experience was very good the only thing I would say is you shouldn't have to laundry your own towels and wash clothes for the price you pay for this condo.

Fantastic Vacation
The Ocean Walk Beach was a pleasure to stay at. The suite was incredible and had an ocean view balcony. The ammenities were great and the location was very good. The only down side is that the pool only gets morning sunlight. It is well equipped for families with children with a childrens water feature, activities room and crafts. It was very clean and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and a movie theatre. The lack of wifi in the room was a disadvantage, but there was access in the lobby area.

The diner across from the Ocean Walk was very reasonable, good service and large portions of home cooked meals.

GREAT GET AWAY
HOTEL WAS LOCATED CLOSE TO RESTUARANTS, MAIN STREET WERE NEW YEARS EVE SREET PARTY WAS HELD. ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED. REALLY KID FRIENDLY.

Good but not great
Overall, I found the place to be nice. Great location. Can't beat it. Easy walking to everywhere near the beach. But the lack of wifi in the room was a bit irritating. It wasn't even available to PAY FOR. I had to go down to the lobby. Apparently, there is more to this hotel than meets the eye. There's a lot of time-share ownership of the rooms and Wyndham doesn't claim responsibility....but they SHOULD. Our room is owned by someone. Apparently, the North Tower has wifi, the South tower doesn't. One should use caution and inquire before booking about this amenity if it is important to you. If it doesn't matter, then the price is a good value for what you get.

Make use of the full kitchen instead of ordering breakfast at the Eatery in the lobby. Meals are pricey. There is a Publix just a few minutes' short drive north on Altantic Ave. Also, the activities center in the hotel has discounts to area attractions.

Beautiful stay at the beach.
The location is awesome, everything is right there...except a grocery store, so stock up before you come. Ask for beach side room, you'll appreiciate the views. Downside, we thought we were getting two doubles and a pull out couch and ended up with a king and a pull out...not as comfortable. Overall would go back!!

Great ocean view and location
Ocean view from the balcony was actually better than I envisioned. Was skeptical that it wasn't going to really be a picturesque view. But it was. Housekeeping came a bit too early for my liking and when we told them to come back we never saw them again until the weekend was over. Not that annoying but it would of been nice to have clean sheets at least two of the three days instead of just the first night. Layout of the room was very comfortable and relaxing. Very good value. I don't need a large suite to be happy. A room that is practical and large enough to move around in is very satisfying. As this room was. Will go back when I visit Daytona Beach again.

Movie theatre, eating places, and shops were within one block and very very handy. Just a short walk from within the hotel, which was very very convenient. Access to parking lot and to the main road were right there next to the motel so everything was very very convenient.
